And EA! Haven't tried Ubisoft's yet but so far EA is by far the worst for me. It can take 20+ mins to get a game to actually start due to stupid EA launcher issues. |
Yeah, ngl, I hated when I tried to open Origin, only to be told I needed to download the new crappy "EA app", only for the damn app to crash on me multiple times and half the buttons weren't even working and it felt even more barebones and clunky to use (not to mention I still can't get it to show my library on startup, so I'm still being forced to look at the damn store first, where I don't want to buy anything).
I liked when I used to play Titanfall 2 on Steam, and having a mini version of Origin running in the background to log me into EA's services, which was far less of a hassle than having the full client open from Steam just to play the game.
If these companies want their clients up front along with Steam's, at least make mini versions of them that run in the background and don't take up any space, nor require you to have the full client open just to boot the games from Steam.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
