Forums - Nintendo - IGN hints at Kid Icarus developer...

I really hope Retro. I really love the way they developed the Metroid Prime series. IMO one of the best atmospheres in gaming.

I wonder if they will use Pit that looks like in Brawl. Or a more mature one.

As long as Pit doesn't sound like he did in Brawl, I'll be a happy man.

The fight is on!

God that was one of the reason if I play with Pit I don't taunt.

Former something....

Nintendo wouldn't give a first party game to a western third party developer. Factor 5 isn't making this.

Expect Retro or someone else of the second party racket.

Still think its Retro.

F-Zero GX was contracted out to a Western Sega studio...

Believe me, I'd love it to be Retro. They are one of my favorite studios ever, but I think people are saying it's Retro because they want it to be Retro.  Not because there is any evidence that really supports Retro at this point.  IGN obviously has info, and they aren't being real subtle with the hints.

I think its Retro, They have to develop a game, since they stop making Metroid

From IGN's most recent podcast:

Matt: "Kid Icarus, I'm quite sure, is going to look stunning in every way known to man, and I've got really high hopes of it playing just as well as it looks."
Bozon: "You're just going to confirm the developer straight up aren't you?"
Matt: "I expect to hear a lot about Kid Icarus at E3."

Someone else I was talking to was pretty sure they mean Factor 5, especially with the graphics comment. I figured them or Retro. What do you guys think?

With those comments, I'm fairly certain it's Factor 5, and I'm fairly certain it'll be a flying game using motion controls. Lets hope they learned something from L.A.I.R.

Unbelievably, I have faith in Factor 5, and believe they will come through on this one. Anyone else feel that way?

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Matt is wrong. NO Wii game can look stunning, in any way. It's just not in the hardware.

All sarcasm aside, I think everyone is expecting it to be Factor5. I wonder if they will use Pit that looks like in Brawl. Or a more mature one.

Ok, yeah...the Pit in Brawl is the mature one.

Every time I play Pit, I know that much is on the line and I give it my all to be victorious. Why? There's no way I'm going to let him win. A win for Pit means a victory pose, which more than likely means him speaking...

In fact, Peach gets the same treatment... "Ooooh. Did I win?" Gah!

Anywho... from the sound of things it definitely sounds like Factor 5 is on board for Kid Icarus. Can't wait to see what E3 has in store for us.
