Well, Hogwarts Legacy is turning out to be quite a system seller. I hope the Switch version works well.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Looks like PS5 is going to have an amazing March in Europe. Bayonetta did a lot better here than the UK where it bombed. UK was under 1k physical launch week so 3.5k in Spain is surprising to see.

Obligatory mention that PS5 so far is up 545% YoY in Spain.

Did Bayonetta 4 really bomb? It was a spinoff of a series that has technically had its ending already, with an artstyle and a gameplay different from the main series. I don't think they expected to sell much.

Yes under 1k physical sales FW in the UK is bombing in that territory. It was 21st. Of course it doesn't have to live up to mainline series sales but this is poor sales for any game.

Under 1k in retail? I didn't know it was THAT bad...

Thanks polo!

PS5 of course up massively both weeks YoY. Switch down just under 40%, Xbox down over 58%.

I didn't even realise Signalis was getting a physical release - 2k as well, pretty impressive!

PSVR 2 vs Xbox Series could be an interesting battle this year.

Metroid had, sadly, the legs I expected it to have. A shame, but not surprising. Hogwarts Legacy and the new Bayonetta did well. Oh! And Mario Kart reached 1 million copies. Nice.

On the hardware front, PS5 dominates with excellent numbers, the Switch seems to have found a new baseline for its weekly sales and the Xbox is doing very poorly.

Thanks for the numbers, polofresco.
