The S'pht looks absolutely terrifying! They were pretty regular enemies in the original game, so while it is strange seeing them being viewed as a raid boss, it fits. Bungie never misses with their trailers!

Hmmm, it looks like Cryo Archive is only available on weekends, just like Ranked mode. I'm fine with Ranked being weekends-only. Not something I'm really interested in, but the raid map too? That stings. Most of the people I play with are married, and some, including me, even have kids, so the majority of our weekends are dedicated to family time. Gaming is overwhelmingly on evenings during the week.

Hopefully that's something Bungie can change in the not too distant future. I doubt it would be that big of a deal since everyone gets reset after a season.

Weekends only is such and outdated way to go about competitive PvP. I am still trying to understand how Sony got behind this outdated, niche, hit or miss, and not for everyone game called Marathon when PS is a brand that tries to cater to everyone.

Still playing some of the Legends mode of Ghost of Yotei, but the grind to make all 4 classes reach rank 25 is likely going to be too long, dunno if I will do it, just did for 1 class and even doing gold level stages is still so slow to level the second class up.

I guess I'll really need to be doing platinum level stages, but I still don't have the gear for it... and there is no way I'll be beating a gold level survival stage wity half assed effort, even if the ki is high enough. At least they raised the recommended ki a lot as survival was far too hard with the old recommended ki levels.

It's a nice addition, I'm having fun but it does got too repetitive kinda quick, sadly.

Reminds me of all the weirdos that took over the TLOU Part II sub. Gamers relishing and celebrating failure is a sight to behold. I'm not even surprised or disappointed at this point, but it just reaffirms how a small minority in the gaming community online, can make so many places of discussion for this hobby unbearable.

Tokon got another character showcased, Peni Parker.

I didn't know she existed and she is a clear homage to Evangelion.

On Tokon she is part of the Spider Man team and rides a spider shaped mech to fight to fit the team.

Honestly I loved it lol, definitely gonna have her on my team if she plays well.

That was a great reveal! A nice homage to her character being in the Spider-Verse films, which Sony also made so probably made it easier to add her to the game. Works too since her animation was anime-inspired in the films. I'm looking forward to seeing what other surprise characters they add!

Loved her spider mech and she is 100% Evangelion, like really absurdly open about it lol.

I'm thinking about preordering Tokon but I really should wait for discounts as it's so expensive...

Cryo Archive is EXCELLENT!!! Up there in the upper echelon of all-time great multiplayer maps. To say Bungie cooked would be an understatement! And this is only a VERY small portion of the Marathon ship. It could take Bungie years of endgame maps that explore the ship in its entirety. However, it also proved to me that I will not be able to play this game endlessly lol. This map is insanely hard!!! So the loop is spending the week getting as much great loot as you can get, then lose most of it during the weekend in either Ranked or Cryo Archive, then repeat the cycle. You get some god-tier loot that 100% justifies resetting after every season, but that is also why I can't see myself playing in the longterm.

Marathon is truly designed for the niche audience that has an endless amount of time to grind and loves the insane difficulty. If this was 10 years ago, I would've been able to, but not the same me now that can have that level of commitment. I wish Bungie the best and hope this game succeeds, because they deserve it. This is an expertly crafted experience they've created!
