I look forward to seeing what Gummi Bears ends up being.
But this makes me sad about both Neon Kai and Firewalk.
Hopefully this team can have some staying power, not just for Sony but for the actual revs themselves.

"Our first game is a team-based action game that draws inspiration from fighting games, platformers, MOBAs, life sims, and frog-type games."
Wow, they're definitely trying to see what sticks
I'm picturing something along the lines of Smite as far as visual presentation as I can see that working obviously with MOBA's, but also with platformers and fighting games. How life sims or whatever the hell a frog-type game is lol, I'm guessing has something to do with a sort of hub when you're not in a match.
Bold for them to make another multiplayer game though. Interested to see just how it ends up being presented lol

Idk if anyone here actually plays Destiny or only follows Bungie just because they're owned by Sony now, but there was some pretty awesome news yesterday about the path forward for Destiny 2.
Starting with 2 expansions per year, both of which have already been revealed, including a Star Wars crossover. Obviously much smaller expansions compared to previous releases. Awesome to see there will still be new Raids and Dungeons being added. Destiny has always been a mixed bag, but the raid and dungeon department has never missed!
And.....for D1 players, the Plaguelands has returned!!! Which can only mean Wrath of the Machine is due to make a comeback! Still my favorite raid in Destiny history! Granted I haven't played the last few new ones lol, but my old clan would constantly rave about them. If/when Wrath drops, I definitely gotta get back in just to check re-experience that raid again.
Took 10 years, but they finally got a shooting range
not sure what the point of having that is now, but they're also finally adding another new PvP mode. This time a 3v3 vehicular combat. Would be nice to give that a whirl. Never adding a permanent sparrow racing mode will forever be a missed opportunity though.

| GymratAmarillo said: My guess is because LFG has something to show soon. There were like A LOT of rumors about Gummy Bears before the February SoP, one of them being that the game would release on ps5, pc and switch day one. Developing a MOBA with 40 people isn't crazy (DOTA2 team for example is 50 people) and we don't know how advanced the project is, we only know it has been in development since 2023 (or before). Based in Blundell words I don't think he wants any shout out until they have something to show and whatever they are doing at Outlaw is bigger in scale and has less time in development. There's also the chance that they are presented tomorrow or next week lol. |
That is true.
We got rumors of Project Gummy being revealed at the Switch 2 Direct lol.
I wonder if this means another round of studio acquisitions are on the horizon for PlayStation Studios.
Arrowhead is the obvious candidate, but I think there are a few others like Jetpack Interactive or Kojima Productions, that make sense. Knowing how Sony handled Bluepoint, perhaps some of these are already finalized, and they're waiting for the right time to announce them.
Great couple of months of gaming this year! ☺️
May - Entirely Clair 33 at my current pace
June - Stellar Blade x Nikke DLC
July 24th - Wuchang Fallen Feathers
August 8th - Mafia TOC
September 4th - Hell Is Us
October 2nd - Ghost of Yotei
Ride The Chariot | ‘25 Completion
I finished FFVII Remake Intergrade (on Steam/PC) - playing the game at 4K 120 FPS was amazing. 56 glorious hours!
Now that I'm done with FFVII Remake Intergrade - I'm gonna focus on Driveclub and get that finished as well since I'm halfway done with the main Expansion pack and Bikes DLC shouldnt take me too long
117 hours for Driveclub!

These Death Stranding 2 previews are so good it might just make me finally play Death Stranding lol. The combat being closer to MGS for the sequel can very well catapult this game into GoTY conversation.

There were times I was straight up seeing MGS V gameplay! And some pretty sick Metal Gear looking boss fights lol.
I'll have to play the first game though at some point. Because the last thing I'll have time to do is play DS2 at launch lol. Playing Expedition 33 right now along with a brilliant C&C-type game with Tempest Rising. After that, I got Doom and the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 same day, then hoping to finish my first playthrough of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and then do at least one more playthrough of Oblivion. Throw in the Switch 2 release and the time I have available to game is gone for the next few months
Such a great time to be a gamer though! Outside of price increase of course lol. I'll most likely have to wait to play DS2 when it comes to PC.

Some are calling Death Stranding 2 as Metal Gear Solid 6.
I'll not be watching anything about it, but it'll take me long to play it, as I haven't played the first yet.
Hope I can keep avoiding spoilers lol.
