If this insane price hike on games spread all over the industry... the guys have no shame in jumping $70 and going from $60 straight to $80, wtf is going on.
I'm glad I have many, many games to play, if it turns to the worst.

Its gonna get worse.

You know Rockstar is gonna push out GTA6 for $80 lol

Maybe $100, which was a joke but now feels like a possibility.

Before it's 2026 and the game is out I have to say it and this is just my personal opinion. All the people who are calling the new FS game "Bloodborne 2" or "the spiritual successor of Bloodborne" just to "land a jab" on Sony or PS fans are going to end up hurting the game not helping it.

It's a FS game. I don't expect it to be bad, to sell poorly or to have a bad reception from the media but every year we see good games being trashed for not meeting insane expectation, who knows maybe when they see more and they realize the core of the game is the vampire jumping long distances while shooting an automatic gun (it is a pvpve after all) and not how the buildings look they will rectify those expectations.

And just after giving a sincere opinion the teasers for Marathon start LOL

looks like the rumors of the Bungie's presentation in April were true. This is a do or die moment boys.

I mean, just don't buy games at launch I reckon. I know that's probably obvious advice, and easier said than done.

But it's the only way.

I was gonna get GTA6 at launch but if its priced at $80 or more, I think I'll just wait.

I mean I waited 10+ years for GTA5 lmao.

This year is quietly shaping up to be one of the PS5's strongest for first party releases:

MLB The Show 25, Ghost of Yotei, Death Stranding 2, Everybody's Golf, Patapon 1+2 Replay, Freedom Wars, the rumored GoW spinoff and Marathon. I think Sony may have a few more surprises too but are waiting for GTA6 to be officially dated.

^ This year is super heavy in general across the board but if GTA6 makes it on time it'll really take things to the next level.

Don't forget Lost Souls Aside. And presumably Convallaria is this year too.

I still feel an Until Dawn 2 announcement and release will happen this year.

But I actually think Sony aren't going to announce anything else. It's far more advantageous, I feel, to get these other games they might have out in 2026 after their hardware sales boost from GTA6.

Marathon's starting to feel special and I'm very happy for Bungie's developers. It's kind of crazy PS focused sites like pushsquare, psu and lifestyle are doing absolutely nothing to report all the activity Bungie has created since yesterday lol. Two sites that are starting to build the world of Marathon with names of weapons, songs and pictures. The discord that right now has an activity to fill a counter, the media played Marathon today at Bungie, ex Destiny streamers hired to start hyping up the game, the rumor that the presentation of the game is going to be next week and the PS media sites are like "PS on twitter changed it's header, are you interested in Marathon?" como un dudes ... lol. Oh and the design of the runners is so pretty, only a big big studio can have the luxury to start the teasing this way. If they can handle the presentation of the game and the pc version that is always the most problematic I believe Marathon can have the success Helldivers 2 had last year.

Now about what else they may have in store I'll put my money on a Uncharted 1 remake, the reason is basically by elimination lol. The rumor says the second team isn't working on the last of us 3, it's being directed by the Lost Legacy director, it has been on the works for 3 years, the idea of ND making 2 new IPs at the same time is crazy (I would love it but it's crazy), the last of us 1 and 2 are already peak tech so is either Uncharted or Jak. I would love a new Jak but the administration decision for more family games was taken this year so it's unlikely, Uncharted is the only option left.

I'm a big fan so I would be happy with anything Uncharted but I think the best decision is the remake because it takes less time so they can help the first team to finish Intergalactic if necessary, Nolan North is alive and well if they want to rework dialogues like they did with Horizon remastered and the Lost Legacy director co-directed TLOU 1 remake. It just makes sense to me.
