Played the original, but not so interested in this.

People that played it have been pretty consistent to say the new Shadow levels are the best ever for Sonic Boost era (Unleashed until Forces), and the new hub area for the shadow levels are a pretty good use of Frontiers new Open Zone formula.

yeah, these are definitely interesting impressions. But honestly, it's not enough to get me to want to play this anytime soon. I mean, if it was just the Shadow levels alone I'd consider it more.
I'm sure in the future I'll change my mind.
Another year of PS+ is about to conclude. Since I just had a 2 week holiday and enjoying GoW too much, I’ll leave the Nov PS+ items for Nov renewal, or just exclude them if I renew in Dec instead.
I played 7 titles and have included the lowest sale price digitally each game has been to determine if my year was worth it.
Lego 2K - 19.79
Evil West - 23.99
Rollerdrome 9.89
Sifu - 13.99
Tunic - 14.99
Streets of Rage 4 - 12.49
Little Nightmares 2 - 9.89
I paid I believe 40USD, and the total here is 105. So that puts me 65USD over. So, I think it was money well-spent, especially since I also played Dreams and Minecraft Dungeons because of PS+.

People said the Sonic levels are very minor upgrades if you played the original on PC, so if that's your case, yeah.
I've never played it so for me the whole package is worth it, but as most of the game is already something you played the value drops a lot.

Not too surprising with Concord bombing.
"We consistently evaluate our games portfolio and status of our projects to ensure we are meeting near and long-term business priorities. As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen SIE’s Studio Business, we have had to make a difficult decision relating to two of our studios – Neon Koi and Firewalk Studios. "
Neon Koi as well.
