Auto. I remember the first coming to PS1 and Saturn. The debates would rage online about F-Zero vs Wipeout. Now fans just want a new entry in both lol. The collection is good. I imported the PAL version on release as it came with a steel case mimicking the original game boxart.

Sweet! Lol, I bet those debating online at the time lost their minds when Wipeout 64 was announced releasing just 2 weeks after F-Zero X would release I would love to have a new F-Zero, but at least for now I still have a very modern Wipeout to enjoy! I was bummed when the series went to handhelds, but they at least gave me a reason to get a PSP and Vita lol. Shoooooooot, I just saw the PAL version steel case!!!! I know what I'm getting for Christmas! lol

Sad to hear Killzone is shelved. They should at least give it to another developer or outsource it.

Or just make a new IP. KZ was never very good. It was created to chase Halo. It failed. Halo and CoD chased Halo away. Don't handcuff a studio to an IP that never really thrived and died for a reason.

This would be true if KZ2 didn't exist.  That multiplayer was in the upper echelon of its time.

I mean, the last game is now 11 years old... it was pretty clear they moved away from it.

Just sounds like Guerilla isn't interested. I wouldn't be either after the success of Horizon lol

Not sure who would be interested, but ND were rumoured to do a FPS at one stage.

Oh yeah, Wipeout Omega Collection kicks ASS! Game is absolutely gorgeous, runs phenomenally, and has that high octane action and soundtrack turned up to 11. I'll be playing this collection for a long time really the only criticism I have so far is the engines not packing as much of a punch as they did in the original 2048 where the engines would roar. They seem pretty muted here, but I got over that pretty quickly lol. I didn't get to play HD/Fury, so experiencing this game for the first time has me feeling like I'm playing a brand new Wipeout!

Makes me miss Studio Liverpool I'm gonna have to load up Colony Wars later!
