I miss when Shenmue was the most expensive game ever made at 70 million. It may have been a sales disappointment but at least it was ambitious and interesting and in some ways drove the industry forward. Now these flops are just soulless trend chasers.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Maybe the other remaster is Hardware Rivals. PS5 trophy list randomly appeared earlier this year I think, and there's footage from a while ago that shows a different UI design from the PS4 version.

I never even heard of it. Who the hell has and wanted it?

Hardware Rivals? Trying to beat Concord's record in how long it would last or what? lol

It looks like the PS1 style USB-C cable only come bundled with the Slim and Pro bundles... come on, even if you have to charge $5 extra give us that amazing cable, Sony =/

Worse, game development takes so long now that it can't even effectively respond to market trends anymore. Maybe Concord would have done better had it been released in 2020, derivative as it was, but instead it took four years longer in the oven.

Lol I'd hope not.

Granted the PS4 version lasted like 4 or 5 years.

With some improvements to the base game, and adding content from the original PS2 title (which is never going to see a classics release I think, so this re-release is the best case to preserve the game) , a PC release, it could get a small base. It's basically a Twisted Metal of sorts, but no characters just vehicle type.

Hardware Rivals looks great at its core for a poorly reviewed Sony game that I've never heard of! The physics feel less arcadey than Twisted Metal and closer to Vigilante 8 which I adored.

It does look too bare-bones and prototype-ish for a full game.

Just began GoWR. Damn... can't wait to sink into it over the next few months.
