Finished my Platinum run for FF16! What a game. That Omega boss fight in the Echoes of the Fallen DLC on FF Mode was very stressful Grinded for the Ultima Sword beforehand only for the Omega Sword to be just as powerful but look far better lol. Really enjoyed Clive's journey. Quite the painful, raw, but satisfying journey.

On to Spider-Man 2!

FF16 has been so weird. It came out and was praised by so many people. Now it feels like I just see people hating on it. I loved it and also got the plat. Which I'm glad I did because I started using that OP weapon you get at the end of the game and it was so satisfying to use once you understood how it worked. I never bothered using the weapon on my first playthrough because I was so used my combo by then that I didn't want to change.

Infinite Wealth and Tekken 8 have been reviewed very well (90+)

Anyone planning on getting both or any of the two?

I'm very new to the franchise but from what I've seen, drastic changes to combat, lack of party control, lack of minigames, dark as hell story (even including numerous F bombs) just the ending of the prologue already had me depressed lol, light on the RPG elements, and crafting was basically pointless since the game always gives you something more powerful than what you crafted by just playing the story, seems to be the biggest sticking points.

But for me, all those things were what I loved about the game I did mostly enjoy FF7 Remake and seeing the Summons (Eikons) treated in a different way in FF16 I thought was awesome. Especially the big focus on spectacle. Makes me excited for The Rising Tide DLC to see what happened to Leviathan.

Wait, understood how the Ultima sword worked? Can you elaborate on that? I just used it as a regular sword lol

I don't like seeing Persona games with Xbox marketing.

I loved FF16 too. I will wait the PC version to do it again with the DLC

I thought about doing that but then I realized I would not have the time to do another playthrough on another platform, and I got impatient

I wonder if the PC version will launch as a "GOTY Edition" or something that will include the DLC.

It probably will be like "FFVII Remake Intergrade". The PC got this version only. So I guess it will be FFXVI "Intergrade" (another title of course) on PC too.

Yes I will buy Tekken 8.

Not interested in either. May consider T8 though.

I am surely getting Infinite Wealth but I am still going through Gaiden. I ordered the physical copy from play-asia and it took ages to arrive.

You gonna like P6 coming day one to Xbox even less ;)

Ride The Chariot || Games Complete ‘24 Edition

I don't see the problem, since Xbox is basically third party now it is like saying : "it's everywhere".

Japan totally owns 2024. Already Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, Tekken 8 and Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth have great reviews.

Then Granblue Fantasy Relink, Persona 3 Reload, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Dragon's Dogma 2...

What did I forget ?

Most likely Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree if that finally comes out. Visions of Mana and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater but knowing Konami that last one might be an oof.
