Wow three new unplayed levels. That's pretty awesome. Still I hope this is just a $10 upgrade. Knowing Sony this gen it'll be a full $70.

$10 upgrade, baybee!

Looking forward to the new content, especially survival mode. Good opportunity to make the most out of its great gameplay.

They had already patched the game for 60fps.

Yeah agreed. I'm glad Naughty Dog are adding the survival mode. Because even though they allow you to replay the action scenarios anytime, it's always felt like an afterthought. Having a mode dedicated to just utilising the gameplay is gonna be a lot of fun!

Some of the other additions are really neat, like the commentary track. I wish they could've added a VR mode, but I know that would've been too much haha

Waaait, lost levels???
Where do they fit?

I'm puzzled. I remember they once said the game would have 2 extra days but it was cut because it was making the game too long, but that can't be it, that should have meaningful content that might mess up the story we already know now... right?

Edit: "A new set of Lost Levels in Part II Remastered allow players a unique chance to check out some playable sequences previously cut from the game. These aren’t fully finished levels, but rather early-development slices that not only let you see some new glimpses of Part II’s world, but also include embedded developer commentary to give them richer context. Explore these spaces and hear directly from the team about the intention of aspects of each level – this is a unique inclusion for our studio and we’re excited to allow players a glimpse into the creative process."

Aww, just some playable behind the scenes stuff to know what it could have been =/

It's a $10 update if you already own part 2, even physically (but you need a disc ps5 for that too)

This seems fine to me. One of those cut content is pretty much an interactive Jackson.

Whatever cut content that was being added was never going to be included as part of the core game for story pacing issues. SImilar to how they didn't integrate Left Behind into the core story of TloU1 - there's no where you can put it where it doesn't slow down or impact the narrative negatively.

I'm sold on the TLOU Part II upgrade, Naughty Dog went above and beyond with this remaster, and its a welcome change of pace for them in terms of positive announcements.

One of the best TPS games ever made getting Dualsense features, performance options, survival mode, lost levels, and even new instruments. I'm really excited for the lost levels, I'm not sure what to expect, but I'd love to get another combat encounter. Definitely going to sink a few hours in survival mode, and test out some of the characters.

10 dolars is fine, i might buy, play this masterpiece again.
