What performance option are you going to play SpiderMan 2 at?

I'm going with the best of both worlds, 40FPS!

Likely stay on Performance for most of it, with occasional swaps to Fidelity to appreciate all of the technical qualities.

Spider man 2 sounds amazing, can't wait.

Insomniac have really been the best dev from Sony since the purchase.

Despite Insomniac not owning any other IP besides Sunset Overdrive, Sony's purchase of Insomniac will forever be the biggest steal in gaming history. Talk about massively underpaid for that buyout.

I'd rather Sony's games in development being overlooked by Insomniac than Bungie

This is an interesting turn of events. Not anything major, but PC now has its own dedicated tab alongside PlayStation's other primary tabs. Before, it was below them alongside "PS4 games on PS5" saying "PlayStation games on PC"

Goes along with the rumors of trophies coming to PC, which I can only interpret as a dedicated PC launcher.

Well Sony paid for the building and retention of the employees basically. IP is the most expensive stuff to buy and Sony already owned those. And well, Sony doesn't seem to care about keeping IPs for a long time.

Yeah. I have to imagine that Insomniac has paid for itself several times at this point in just a few years.

Frankly Insomniac's purchase was probably already paid for, with Spider-Man coming out the year before.

I still have a hard time believing they'll have a dedicated PC launcher, but I imagine we'll start seeing their games with PC trophies and stuff like that.

I think Sony has a lot of confidence in being able to create new IPs, and they're comfortable dropping IPs when they get stale.

Just finally finished the Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster. That's my favourite game of all time, and the pixel remaster makes it look and feel as great as my rose-tinted memories of the game made me think it always was.

Truly magical.

I wish I wasn't so dedicated to doing them in order, or I'd have done this months ago instead of waiting. but now I have all 6 platinum and I'm about to go trigger the last node on Final Fantasy XVI's grid to get the last trophy there, too. That way I'll forever have 1-6 back to back n my list with 16 coming right back

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Yep, I agree, and that is one of the main reasons I like PS, it feels fresh.
