US leaves NATO to grab Greenland and suddenly Russia's shopping cart in Europe is full and the cashier is gone.

Russia's just having a baby cart and that one's already having issues with Ukraine not fitting in there, even just the Donbas region can't fit in their cart anymore

Russia is depleted militarily for at least 10 years, and probably more like 25 years:

  • Their entire stick or armored vehicles is gone and needs to be rebuilt
  • Their navy and air force have been decimated and what they have isn't up to par with European equipment.
  • Their losses in soldiers are even more severe than the numbers suggest, as Russia didn't make many children after the fall of the Soviet Union, meaning men in their prime age were a rare commodity already, and the losses just makes them even rarer, meaning even less children down the road in a country with a strong population contraction already before the war.
  • They nuclear arsenal protects them from invasions, but it's useless in offensive scenarios.
  • They currently really need every single drone they have to fight in Ukraine. Guess how many they would need to fight against the entirety of Europe? Much, much more than they can provide in any shape or form.

So unless US go to a prolonged war with Europe which would also leave the continent depleted, Russia would be in no position to attack Europe any day soon.

Russia can't do shit even though military experts and defense ministers say how strong Russia still is. They have long range rockets and nukes to destroy but nothing to take land. They have dangerous submarines and stuff like that and which they will or won't use against NATO countries like Estonia regardless of if USA is a part of it. They will only do it if they go full crazy and then I guess it doesn't matter to Russia anymore who's part of it.

But yeah, Ukraine is already enough for Russia for ground fights and Europe is already supporting them much more as USA is since a while.

Russia also can't use what they have in Ukraine or to defend against Ukraine or Ukraine would destroy them on that ground so that Russia would have to use what they don't need against Ukraine. What is this supposed to be?

Sure, Russia is investing a lot to rebuild their losses but all NATO countries also stepped up their game a lot now.

And I can imagine how a Russian attack on a NATO country would look like after what they've shown in Ukraine. Hundreds of destroyed vehicles before they even reach the first villages...

You would think Europe, China, Mexico, and Canada would form a temporary alliance where they just completely cut off all imports from America including energy for a few months. Gather the resources and back channels you need first, and than implement it.

Doesn't even have to be cutting everything and that's also not that easy but I also always think it would be so much easier not to get blackmailed on a daily basis if they just would work together against this constant aggression. Sure, they all have a trade surplus with USA (at least only counting physical goods and not digital ones) so that everyone fears to suffer more as USA and that's the reason why USA can blackmail so easily with economical consequences but if USA fucks up their trade with plenty of countries while those countries only fuck up their US trade, then it would pretty fast look really bad for USA as well. USA also doesn't want to see US companies going downwards on the stock market. All those US billionaires and multi millionaires losing half their net worth? Damn...

But politicians are so focused to always think about the next elections that they all never have the balls to do what is needed even if that would also hurt the own economy for some years so that all those people who just don't see the big picture will vote another party.

I would have a party if EU, Canada, Mexico and many more countries would meet without USA to build a plan how to push back but that won't really happen.

So it happened, Trump announced tariffs of 10% on some European countries (and 25% starting June) because they don't want to support him in taking Greenland away from Denmark (or even away from those people living there) to him. This guy really needs to die, seriously...

And the best part? They are all so stupid that he will succeed in the end and will be surprised why USA will be even worse to them in the future when they control even more of the planet.

To borrow a video game analogy this feels an awful lot like when Nintendo refused to use CD-ROM for their Super Famicom/SNES successor (Nintendo 64).

China is Playstation, US under Trump is the N64, Squaresoft (Canada), Konami + Capcom (Europe), etc. lol.

Alienating your allies is not smart.

Trump sure knows how to mobilize people.

Imo anyone defending the murder of Renee Good should never be allowed to own a weapon. If you call that self defense, you can not be trusted with a weapon.

ICE will keep filling the detention concentration camps if not stopped. Last year already 32 people died in ICE detention.

Maybe it's all part of a greater scheme. AI is going to take over most desk jobs. Get rid of all the low wage workers to have a place for all those white collar jobs that are rapidly disappearing.

Spot on. There's going to be a financial crisis and MAJOR wars with IRAN etc and because US population has guns, they will need heavy martial law in the cities. ICE agents are not about immigration, they are there to enforce martial law under the guise of tacking immigration. I saw a video where an ICE agent admitted to being paid 7k a week. What kind of immigration enforcer gets that kind of pay? I feel sorry for US citizens. It's over for them as they have literally invited martial law into their own country and all the gov had to do was say they were for immigration.
