US leaves NATO to grab Greenland and suddenly Russia's shopping cart in Europe is full and the cashier is gone.

Russia's just having a baby cart and that one's already having issues with Ukraine not fitting in there, even just the Donbas region can't fit in their cart anymore

Russia is depleted militarily for at least 10 years, and probably more like 25 years:

  • Their entire stick or armored vehicles is gone and needs to be rebuilt
  • Their navy and air force have been decimated and what they have isn't up to par with European equipment.
  • Their losses in soldiers are even more severe than the numbers suggest, as Russia didn't make many children after the fall of the Soviet Union, meaning men in their prime age were a rare commodity already, and the losses just makes them even rarer, meaning even less children down the road in a country with a strong population contraction already before the war.
  • They nuclear arsenal protects them from invasions, but it's useless in offensive scenarios.
  • They currently really need every single drone they have to fight in Ukraine. Guess how many they would need to fight against the entirety of Europe? Much, much more than they can provide in any shape or form.

So unless US go to a prolonged war with Europe which would also leave the continent depleted, Russia would be in no position to attack Europe any day soon.
