If he was a lefty, we would've found out by now. This slow drip feeds tells me they've got nothing to attack the left or the democrats with.

This is from The Guardian. One anonymous source isn’t really proof, in my opinion, but things are indeed coming out.

This does put doubts in my head but with the caveats that it's an anonymous school friend and it was years ago, people can change a lot in years, especially through late teens-early adults. I still feel like we don't have enough concrete evidence in either direction of the motivations, and I feel like MAGA thinks that too based on how mute they've became (and some MAGA influencers deleting their posts now, Lol).

She spoke with Daily Mail on Friday after news of Robinson's arrest broke. "My son, his dad, is a Republican for Trump," Debbie told the outlet. "Most of my family members are Republican. I don't know any single one who's a Democrat."

"I'm just so confused," Debbie said of her grandson's arrest. "[Tyler] is the shyest person," she said. "He has never, ever spoke politics to me at all." She insisted that Robinson had "has never, ever gotten in trouble in his life."

I'm pretty comfortable in saying at this point he is a right wing nut job.

The meme references are too niche for anyone to really know without being in that alt right sewer. I find it hard to believe anyone really trafficks in those areas without being pretty deep down the rabbit hole.

It's like, I'm a Disney adult. If I say something about Disney bounding and someone knows wtf I'm talking about, they're also a Disney adult. You just don't casually stumble upon that term.

And one could argue if you use those terms, even if you don't think you are a Disney adult or describe yourself as such, you probably are.

Yeah, or you are pretty close to someone who is.

My point is if you're telling me its a radical leftist who dressed as his favorite alt right meme for Halloween, I'm very skeptical.

Tyler Robinson, the man arrested on suspicion of killing Charlie Kirk, was registered to vote but had never voted in any election, according to Ryan Sullivan, the clerk and auditor for Washington County, Utah, where the suspect lived.

I see the left doing well in here. Thats good. I guess we can have this thread open. Dont want to make it seem like the right is ok and the left is wrong for once. Had to close that Charlie Kirk thread for the good of the people I guess. Oh it was probably because people were attacking eachother, right objective mods? ....fucking idiots.

Do you really think this was the best approach?

You could have just genuinely asked why the thread was closed. Or even argued that you don't think it should have been closed.

You could do all of that without making assumptions or attacks.

It's exhausting how often users act like absolute bullies, and then they get banned, and then they act like we're just biased against their group of people.

Just be nice, try to imagine that we're just people trying our best - sometimes making mistakes. We're not pretending that we're unbiased, we are just trying our best.

Disagree with people in a civil way.

So what is important today? Did Trump say a word wrong or something? Very important issues.

Not like the one where a 31 year old man was shot in the neck in front of his wife and young children. Thats old news, right? Who cares about some brutal historic assassination.

People in this thread are literally talking about the shooter, but you have to make up a scenario where we're talking about some petty thing?

Kind of funny how in the end, Kash Patel didn't even technically catch the guy either, the dude handed himself in, or rather his father handed him in, it makes me wonder how far he would have got if he genuinely tried considering Kash Patel earlier confused a fucking suspect for a person of interest. Man, it makes me wonder about what is actually happening with competent criminals, I feel like the tone was different from Luigi, with Luigi it felt like we knew a lot almost immediately, with this one it felt like the FBI were desperate for leads.

Luigi’s manhunt was done when thr FBI was actually run by halfway competent people. Kash is in way over his head. He’s an author of right wing propaganda for five year olds, not a law enforcement officer. He got the job because his children’s books depict Trump as a literal king.

Its a big thing happening in the world right now and I would like to see a discussion of it.

You didnt explain anything since I cant access the fucking thread anymore.

Who exactly do you think came out of that thread "looking right"?
The one that called another members sub-human and drove them away?
Or the ones that declared that the shooter is a transgender leftist, before we had any facts?

The inscriptions of the bullet casings, and photos of him dressing up as a Pepe meme point more towards the shooter being part of the Groyper community. Which is an alt-right group.
We still don't know for sure, especially if that annonymous tip from the schoolmate is accurate, but the people that were sure in the other thread sure don't look very reasonable.

Ryuu did explain why it was closed in the "State of the Forum" thread, where you are active.

But you can still check the locked thread, where it was also explained.
Locked threads don't appear in the index. But you can still access them. Go to your VGChartz Buddy notifications for example, and click on one related to that thread, and you're in.

It's still discussed in this thread though, and most of the posts right before yours were about that subject, so I really don't understand what you mean when you say you want to see a discussion of it.

Do whatever you want. Cancel culture is your thing.

You're acting as if it's not your thing.
Here's your reaction to when the Sucker Punch employee was fired for their opinion on Charlie Kirk:

No anti-cancel culture sentiments expressed. Instead, you're implying that more of them share the same view.

The idea that cancel-culture is one side's thing is ridiculous.
It was predominantly conservatives that said they wanted that employee fired.

The only reason it tends to happen more often towards one side regarding politics is simply because that side is inherantly way more prone to breaking TOS, or expressing opinions that companies don't want to associate with.

US progressive core issues center more around things like healthcare and human rights.
US conservative core issues center more around immigration.

Saying that everyone should have Universal Healthcare isn't going to get your company in trouble. You're not exactly attacking a group of people because of how they were born.
But making xenophobic or bigoted remarks can.

Mocking someone's death is in that latter category. Though it's not part of either side's ideology, and only comes up when something like this occurs.

There's no progressive version of the bible stating that straight people will burn in hell.
So guess which side is way more likely to say something that criticizes someone based on their sexuality?
And there's no counterpart to the right's anti-imigration policies on the left.
That would be something like pushing for the deportation of white native born citizens?

Those are some examples of why conservatives are more prone to breaking the rules on these subjects.
Not because those who enforce the rules are being unfair or biased. But because there are no counterparts to many of these issues on the opposite side of the spectrum.

Yet you'll have poeople, liked you just did, implying that things are unfair without considering any of this. As if every problematic ideal exists mirror reversed on the other side.

We can't invent a progressive bible that's anti-straight just to even things out when it comes to LGBT slurs. Etc.
There's f*ggot, tr*nny, h*mo, etc.
What's the anti straight slur? Straighty?

Let's not act like we should expect an equal amount of infractions on either side, as if they're just mirror opposites.
