It has been long accepted that Trump isn't the sharpest bulb.

But US intelligence assessments had reached a different conclusion – not only was Iran not actively pursuing a nuclear weapon, it was also up to three years away from being able to produce and deliver one to a target of its choosing, according to four people familiar with the assessment.

Now, after days of Israeli airstrikes, US intelligence officials believe that so far, Israel may have set back Iran’s nuclear program by only a matter of months, according to one of those people, a US official. Even as Israel has done significant damage to Iran’s facility at Natanz, which houses centrifuges necessary to enrich uranium, a second, heavily fortified enrichment site at Fordow has remained effectively untouched.

Trump‘s DNI Tulsi Gabbard: „The Intelligence Community assesses that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon.“

Trump last night: „I don’t care what she (Tulsi Gabbard) said. I think that they were close.“

Lmfao.

I too don't care what Tulsi Gabbard says, about anything really, she is a Russian/Assad bootlicker but fucking hell, this administration is a complete and utter joke, every single one of them are highly incompetent and probably hate each other. Saying that you don't care what your Director of National Intelligence thinks is hilarious, he clearly only gave her the position as a thank you for licking his boots.

‘No war with Iran,’ Democratic lawmaker says

Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna has added his voice to a small but growing list of US lawmakers warning against military action against Iran.

Khanna, who represents California’s 17th congressional district in the House of Representatives, said on X he would support a resolution requiring Trump to receive congressional approval before entering Israel’s conflict with Iran.

Republican Representative Thomas Massie said earlier that he would introduce the War Powers Resolution on Tuesday.

A number of other lawmakers, including Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and independent Senator Bernie Sanders, have also expressed their opposition to US involvement in the conflict.

Genocide 7 supports Israel:

https://www.pm.gc.ca/en/news/statements/2025/06/16/g7-leaders-statement-on-recent-developments-between-israel-and-iran

We, the leaders of the G7, reiterate our commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East.

In this context, we affirm that Israel has a right to defend itself. We reiterate our support for the security of Israel.

We also affirm the importance of the protection of civilians.

Iran is the principal source of regional instability and terror.

We have been consistently clear that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon.

We urge that the resolution of the Iranian crisis leads to a broader de-escalation of hostilities in the Middle East, including a ceasefire in Gaza.

We will remain vigilant to the implications for international energy markets and stand ready to coordinate, including with like-minded partners, to safeguard market stability.

Self-defense is the new declaration of war.

There would be no Iranian crisis if you had stopped the genocide instead of supporting Netanyahu.

COLLINS: Have you called Tim Walz yet?

TRUMP: I don't really call him. He appointed this guy to a position. I think the governor of Minnesota is so whacked out. I'm not calling him ... he's a mess.

Scum.

Tagline should read "Trump: "Why waste time?" Calling Minnesota Gov Walz after Trump voter killed Minnesotan Democrat"

US Embassy in Israel to remain closed

The US Embassy in Jerusalem said it would remain closed today, and is directing all of its employees and their families to continue to shelter in place in and near their residences until further notice.

The mission said its branch in Tel Aviv will also remain closed.

“The U.S. Embassy is not in a position at this time to evacuate or directly assist Americans in departing Israel,” it added.

Trump's hotels will soon be devoid of any workforce since he loved to hire immigrants and then underpay them.

That's the exploitation that made him a rich person in the first place. After all, they had no way to go against this because it would have needed to go to police, which would have deported them immediately...

Trump’s approval will sink, but there is no chance the U.S. will be overthrown. There exist no armed militias in this country which could legitimately take on U.S. forces. (Plus, the CIA would prolly know of these plans well in advance. We are all surveilled 24/7 by our phones.)

"Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed"

In every country, and the US is not an exception, these things work either because enough people have faith in the system or because enough people don't have enough faith to overthrow the system.

There's a reason why authoritarian governments spend so much time and effort on propaganda. There's a reason why North Korea, despite having nuclear weapons, despite having a military spreads propaganda about the outside world, and about Kim Jong Un.

You don't just have to keep the people in line, you also need to keep the military in line.

If you think that the US exists solely because of the military, you are incredibly mistaken.

It's a big reason why the US pushes patriotism so hard.

If there is any confusion about what Trump is planning to do, JD Vance just cleared it up with a not so apologetic wall of text.
