Yeeesh, the markets aren't liking China's response alongside Trump's stupidity.

Pre-markets have Dow down 4% already and S&P down 4.8%

If EU announces their response today then I wonder if we'll hit the first circuit breaker.

Trump is far more concerned about protecting criminals in foreign countries than he is with helping his own country.

Trump Demands France ‘Free Marine Le Pen’

(She isn't locked up, Lol).

He sure is obsessed with defending criminals in foreign countries, like the sex trafficking Tate brothers, or the rapist Connor McGregor, or the mass murderers Vladimir Putin and Netanyahu. While America burns he goes out golfing and crying about criminals being mistreated.

This administration can only be two things when it comes to Russia, either they're pro-Russia or they're fucking terrified of Russia, Putin gets given another few weeks on top of the already few weeks he has been given, on top of him already rejecting Trump's initial ceasefire proposal, on top of him breaking the ceasefire, on top of him then fully rejecting a ceasefire, on top of them openly mocking Trump on State TV. But don't worry guys! Trump is very frustrated with Putin! Honest! He'll do something about it! Soon! He's very mad! Lol.

It's worse than Biden vs Netanyahu. Same thing every time Biden 'tried' to slow down Netanyahu but he did manage to slow Israel down a bit compared to Trump now. But yeah Biden 'frustrated' with Netanyahu was last year's theme.

Now Gaza is pretty much lost, Trump fully endorsing further genocide, ethnic cleansing and Israel further destabilizing the region. While now being in the Biden/Netanyahu role 'vs' Putin instead.

I don't know what it is. With Biden it was his Zionist support and of course Aipac's influence. But that was/is not the case with Russia. What does Putin have over Trump that he keeps bending over to take the insults and give more concessions to Putin. He acts like a man that's compromised, worse than Aipac's / Netanyahu's influence over Biden.

It's like Trump is lashing out with his tariff wars, drawing attention away from being Putin's bitch. It's like his ego was hurt bad and he's having temper tantrum after temper tantrum. These new tarrif announcements can't be called anything but that. Trump needs to go. He's either compromised by Putin or the biggest idiot on the planet. Either way he's not fit to be president.

I've been thinking about what makes Trump so resistent to the takedowns he would totally deserve. Why is it that such a life-long idiot can get away with so much grift time and time again.

The answer I came up with is a psychological human self-defense mechanism when it comes to getting fooled. It's not a pleasant feeling to get played, but there are variations of it. Suppose you are falling prey to a high-level scheme, for example let's imagine something along the lines of what you see in the Ocean's Eleven movies. If the trickery is sophisticated, you would be much more inclined to admit that you've been fooled because you can easily imagine that most humans would get fooled too. Heck, you might even feel some sense of admiration for the people who made a fool of you because it was so well-planned and so well-executed.

But what if you fall for a scheme that is so basic that the slightest bit of thinking should have made it clear to you that you are facing fraud? It's not easy for people to admit how stupid they are/were, so there's a chance that they pretend that there's no fraud or that the culprit is much smarter than he really is. That's why even in the face of the current stock market crash you will still find people who will say that Trump has a plan despite all evidence being to the contrary. These people have followed Trump every step along the way, every time choosing that they haven't been duped by a simpleton and that's how they got where they are now, to a place where wrong is right and vice versa.

I've seen Mitch McConnell's name repeatedly on the list of defectors during the past two months. He has chosen to break the cycle, but what he's doing now can't make up for what he has done to the USA. It was him who purposefully left the door open for Trump to run for public office again. Additionally, he's not going for re-election, so one can easily argue that he is as selfish as before because now it's about saving his legacy for him, about being remembered as someone who wasn't Trump's bitch. But it's too little to late.

I've been having trouble to bring this post to an end because I've been without sleep for too long. I hope it's coherent, because at times it felt like a sentence or two are missing in the progression of my explanations.

Statement from Nintendo: Statement from Nintendo: Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 in the U.S. will not start April 9, 2025 in order to assess the potential impact of tariffs and evolving market conditions. Nintendo will update timing at a later date. The launch date of June 5, 2025 is unchanged.

Sounds like the sensible thing to do. This Trump lunacy is so big that he'll fight for at least a couple of weeks to go through with it, unlike previous tariff plans that have been canned or delayed within a couple of days. By the end of the month virtually everyone in the country should be ready to rip his head off, though.

Genuinely I hope they increase the price, do it Nintendo, I'll support you, anyone with a brain cell knows who to blame, it's Donald Trump, I want everyone turning their anger towards him, his fucking stupidity is the cause of all of this and I'm sorry but some Americans will have to suffer to put an end to this madness but a more expensive Switch is the least of our concerns.

Southern evangelical grievance politics are the methamphetamine of the political world: the "dealers" strip the house bare while people are on a bender, and when they come down off of it, they're not only dealing with a hangover, they're dealing with a house that looks like a garbage dump and smells like someone has been free-basing cat piss.
