Finished fourth game this year which is Danganronpa V3. Contrary to popular opinion, I found this series getting better and better with each entry and V3 being the best game out there. Yes, the ending is a bit controversial, but I was more disappointed with the ending in 2 so I was already prepared that I can't really take this series seriously before jumping into V3. Endings don't really matter much tho IMO, as characters, murder plots and class trials is what is making this series enjoyable.
As for the previous three games - it was a half-year Persona marathon which started with 5 back in October last year when P5R came out. Not much to say, it was great to replay all these games now on Xbox. Persona 3 is still the best one in terms of story and characters. But 260 floor in Tartarus... This game indeed needs a remake, so hopefully the rumours are true. At the same time, remaking such well established great games is not an easy task either. Look at what Square Enix has done to FF7. I'm still a bit salty that they decided to port P3P over FES as well. P3P doesn't bring that many advantages over FES. And I'd rather have FES over it.
Not sure what to play next... Maybe will get back to some Switch backlog in the mean time. And then will take a small break from gaming anyway soon until around Xbox showcase. Hopefully, there will be some games announced to be coming soon. Otherwise, the only next game on Xbox I can think of is the latest Star Ocean which I bought during golden week sale. Or maybe I'll replay Valkyrie Chronicles 4 (one of the best games of last gen) which was sold at 5$, so I double dipped digitally in addition to day one physical copy.
