You come very much across as having very little interest in Xbox and even beyond the Xbox exclusives, I can't even recall a single time you've even spoken about playing a game in here, not even a "I just finished so and so, it's -insert opinion-" and I could be wrong but the reason I would be wrong is because it's drowned out by everything else.

If often instead looks as though you're in here only to start arguments, often having abrasive comments. You were even called out on it once by a relatively new user no-less who has less history with you and your response was essentially that you were bored so of course, nobody trusts your intentions in here because you have done nothing to earn their trust, hence it often leads to moments like these.

You could make a genuine attempt to integrate yourself into the community but I don't see that. Heck, even your response to my question backs up how little interest you have in Xbox, Lol. And it was a bit ironic how of the two titles you listed, one of them is from a studio who has put out multiple 60s/70s lately, scores which you have debated with users in this very thread as not being good.

And it's not like someone was trying to challenge you or something, it came more across on your part as a genuine attempt to make someone feel worse about their pick in a videogame based on an arbitrary score, you have a bit of an obsession with critic scores which leads you to drag many titles, so the irony of you being excited for a studio who puts out the same scores you criticise was funny, but also a bit suspicious.

You may have got them confused with Avalanche Software which is understandable but I'm guessing that would then lead you to only looking forward to one title once the Meta is on your mind, Lol. So it looks even more like you have less interest in Xbox and more interest in starting fights in the thread. Why are you genuinely here? Because as of right now, nobody thinks you're here for good intentions and that's on you.

You say you have Game Pass PC but I've never seen you post about playing videogames, let alone an Xbox IP, I'm also a Nintendo fan with a Switch but it'd be a bit like me going into the Nintendo thread to post a bunch of comments about how shit Gamefreak are, Lol. Like, a majority of your comments are either negative or trying to provoke a reaction, aside from that, a few comments on the business aspects.

Pi-Guy is the OP of PS Nation and posts from time to time in here and absolutely nobody has an issue with that because he actually looks like he has an interest in Xbox discussion, actively tries to contribute positively towards discussions and doesn't come across as someone who is often trying to force an argument.

You don't just not talk Xbox IP...You barely talk about games at all in here. Even a NEW user noticed behaviour from you that gets you into these situations...Instead of trying to integrate yourself positively into the thread, you keep falling into bad habits, nobody trusts your intentions because you've NEVER given them a reason to trust your intentions, I tried but clearly it was useless.

People have a preconceived notion of you because of your behaviour around the website, and how can it change when your first time in this thread was causing more drama, to which someone pointed it out and your response was essentially "I was bored" and since then you KEEP exhibiting the same behaviour.

Like, even the positive news, such as things about Game Pass, is met with a snarky response, then when someone challenges you on something, it's met with a snarky response, nobody can challenge you on anything as a result because why would they bother, it looks as though you have no intention of having your views challenged and instead want to just provoke a reaction, I.E. have fun, because you're bored.

As I said, I have a Switch, I consider myself a Nintendo fan but if I suddenly posted in the Nintendo OT to mostly speak about how shit Gamefreak is and then not say anything about actually playing my Switch, I try to find the issue in all positive news, then try to put down people for liking Pokemon because it's a 70 Meta title (I buy Pokemon day one every release) and say my only interest in Switch is Astral Chain...It'd look suspicious.

But it's worse in your example because people have already made a judgement on your character based on your behaviour outside of this thread, I don't think the same could be done to me because I don't talk about Nintendo anywhere, so in your case, the odds are already stacked against you and honestly I understand why, I've had debates with you outside of this thread where I've been suspicious of your behaviour as a Moderator.

But the bigger issue is that it often doesn't even look like you're making an attempt to change their view of you, your first few posts in this thread set a bad start and since then you keep adding to that bad start, I honestly don't know what you expect, it doesn't even look like you're trying, it often looks like you're trying to provoke a reaction, you yourself have basically admitted to that when you said you were bored, Lol.

Personally, I've not really trusted a lot of your intentions, especially in here. But I have tried to give you a fair shot and looked the other way but it's becoming clear now that a large portion of the thread is taking issue with your behaviour so it's time that I step in and say my thoughts and you can take the advice and toss it away or take the advice and try to improve.

But to be clear, the larger community of my thread and the wellbeing of my thread is my biggest concern rather than a individuals feelings.

I think Jez Corden made a nice point about all of this on twitter the other day, about why the internet broadly has become borderline unreadable for Xbox fans the last month, and it goes back to what is happening in this very thread:

So much of the criticism directed at xbox is offered in bath faith by non sympathetic or disinterested parties that just want to see the platform fail. The faux concern, the handwringing, the “but where are the games” from people who would never buy them anyway, even if xbox was releasing 10/10 masterpieces once every 3 weeks. It’s nauseating.


What happened with Redfall is bad for the industry as a whole, and in the long run that means it’s bad for Sony and Nintendo gamers too. I just do not understand the mentality of celebrating or gloating about these things.
