I think Jez Corden made a nice point about all of this on twitter the other day, about why the internet broadly has become borderline unreadable for Xbox fans the last month, and it goes back to what is happening in this very thread:

So much of the criticism directed at xbox is offered in bath faith by non sympathetic or disinterested parties that just want to see the platform fail. The faux concern, the handwringing, the “but where are the games” from people who would never buy them anyway, even if xbox was releasing 10/10 masterpieces once every 3 weeks. It’s nauseating.


What happened with Redfall is bad for the industry as a whole, and in the long run that means it’s bad for Sony and Nintendo gamers too. I just do not understand the mentality of celebrating or gloating about these things.
