512GB: $140 -> $90
1TB: $220 -> $150
2TB: $400 -> $280

Still not as cheap as it should be, but a very good price cut.

Probably for XGS, I would say Banjo Kazooie and for Bethesda, QUAKE!!!

Seagate realizing they'll soon have competition

512GB - $89.99 was $140

1TB - $149.99 was $220

2TB - $279.99 was $400

Still pretty overpriced compared to PC SSD's like you can put in PS5, but a substantial reduction nonetheless. All it took was a 2nd manufacturer making them in order to create competition and drive prices down. Really hope some more SSD manufacturers join in the race soon and drive prices down even further.

Assuming it has to be something that we don't know is in development.

Xbox Game Studios - Viva Pinata or Killer Instinct.

Bethesda Softworks - Wolfenstein III.

Can't decide for XGS...I've changed my mind like 20 times already in the time it took me to write this post.

Banjo-Threeie (Banjo Kazooie 3)

$400 for 2TB is insane, whoever bought that you should be ashamed.

That's what happens when you have no competition to worry about.

Damn! And the XOne and PS4 versions launch today too.

Had it been available at launch, I would have lol.  I purchased the 1TB.

So another 3m+ sales since 2 weeks after launch when they said it sold 12m. XB1/PS4 launch today will add at least another 2m over the next few weeks I'd assume. Then we have Switch in July, and WB says they believe it will sell alot more copies on Switch than it will on PS4/XB1. Then we will have price cuts for all versions throughout the year, with the game likely hitting $30 or less by Black Friday. I see it finishing 2023 over 20m sales most likely, maybe even over 25m if the Black Friday and Holiday discounts are steep enough.
