Bills safe house in Redfall is a great TLOU reference but boy did they go OTT with trip wires :L also I implore you (if you’re playing on console) to set input response (options/controller) to low and sensitivity to 2, also set the motion blur scale to medium (it’s set to high) … just my personally preferences and the difference in how the game controls is night and day.

Well, if Bethesda/Zenimax studios aren't close to releasing anything and I think you said before that you don't think Fable, SoD3, and Perfect Dark aren't close to releasing either. Then.... should we expect another dry 2024? Because if Xbox nor Bethesda is close to releasing anything, that's pretty concerning. Xbox can't afford another 2022 on their hands Maybe you could provide a list of what you think could release in 2024? The only thing that comes to mind is Hellblade 2 if that doesn't release this year and Stalker 2 but that's only a 3-month timed exclusive iirc (hopefully MS just buys full exclusivity but that's supposedly still coming this year but I doubt it). 

Avowed!!!! I wouldn't be surprised if Contraband releases next year as well. Tbf to Bethesda, they rarely ever release 1 or at the most, 2 games a year lol.

2024 should at minimum have Avowed, Contraband, Compulsion's Next IP.

Hellblade is 50/50 I would say if it's 2023 or 2024.

Find it hard to predict the rest. MachineGames...We know nothing really about how far along Indiana Jones is and nobody knows if Wolfenstein is in development. ID Software, if Wolfenstein III isn't in development then I don't think we see anything from MachineGames for a while. For ID Software, The Ancient Gods released in 2021 and looking at the credits, a huge chunk of ID Software worked on it, I doubt anything is ready for 2024 and further complicated by the question of if it's a sequel or reboot of Quake. Zenimax is an MMO so it could be ages. Not being at this E3 doesn't mean they won't still release in Holiday 24 though, have to save some surprises after-all.

How far along is Suerte? Shaolin? Age of Mythology should be 2024. Probably another Minecraft spinoff since that was revealed as being in development the same time as Minecraft Legends. Don't think InXile or Undead Labs will be ready for 2024. I don't know about the rest. I mean it doesn't help that we have zero updates, Lol.

I think Early 24 will be - Avowed, Contraband and Compulsion's IP.

Holiday 24? I don't have a clue, Lol.

Oh I forgot an easy one, Forza Horizon 6 is likely 2024, Lol.

My personal expectations for 2024 are as follows:

High Certainty

• Hellblade 2 (if it doesn't make Holiday 2023 as was recently suggested by it being in a Gamepass ad with 2023 games, game has been in development now since late 2018 or early 2019, would be shocked if it doesn't release in 2024 at the latest)
• Avowed (been in development since 2018, surely they can get it out in 2024, even if the game did see a partial reboot when Carrie Patel replaced Chris Parker as director in 2021)
• Contraband (been in development since 2019 and was announced E3 2021, surely they can get it out in 2024)
• Stoic's Project Belfry (Stoic's last game was released in 2018, 2024 will mean that the game has been in development for 6 years, which is already 3 years more dev time than any of their Banner Saga games got, it might even be a 2023 release later this year)
• Forza Horizon 6 (Forza Horizon games once released every 2 years, but moved to every 3 years starting with Horizon 5. 2024 makes 3 years since Horizon 5 so stands to reason we will see Horizon 6 in 2024)
• Project Mara (been in development since late 2019, and it's supposedly only 2 or 3 hours long, and Ninja Theory finished modelling the penthouse apartment where the entire game is set more than a year ago, I think they can manage a 2024 release)

Somewhat Lower Certainty

• Perfect Dark (began development in 2018 and was in a playable state by 2020, however, it got a partial reboot when The Initiative decided to bring in Crystal Dynamics to assist back in 2021. But still, 2024 is 3 years after Crystal got brought in, 3 years with 2 studios working in collab might be enough to finish what The Initiative had started by themselves in 2018, but then it also might not be enough time to finish it)
• Compulsion's Project Midnight (began development in early 2020, giving them 4+ years of development with a 2024 release, and they have more then doubled in size since We Happy Few, so there is a definite chance of a 2024 release)
• Fable (began development in 2017, though there are rumors of a full or partial reboot somewhere along the way. Still, it has been in development a long time and Eidos Montreal has been assisting them since 2022. I think they can possibly manage a Q4 2024 release) 
• Everwild (when the game was reported to be getting a reboot back in 2021, the report that said it was getting rebooted said that Rare was aiming for a 2024 release after the reboot, so there is a chance it makes 2024, but also a chance it slips into 2025)

Games I don't see releasing in 2024

• TES 6
• State of Decay 3
• Indiana Jones
• id's next game
• Arkane Lyon's next game
• Tango's next game
• inXile Project Cobalt
• Zenimax Online Project Kestrel
• Gears of War 6
• Halo Tatanka (rumor is they decided to expand it into a full Halo MP experience, presumably meaning arena maps, BTB maps, and possibly Forge as well, it will take time to get all of that into the game)

Each of those will be 2025 or later, with TES 6 probably being the last of those to release, in maybe 2027 or 2028.

Will 2024 be a repeat of 2021...

I wonder how much in scope that Certain Affinity has expanded it.

And also how much of Certain Affinity are working on it, they have their plates full.

Double Fine typically works on smaller projects, so I wouldn't be surprised if they have something ready by the end of 2024.
