Yeah there's quite some stuff on there that won't be on Game Pass. I would also add THPS5 which is delisted (thankfully...), Sekiro is a) no Activision IP and b) only published by Activision in certain parts of the world, Overwatch 1 is no more and 2 is already F2P.

Skylanders also. Cloud would be impossible to use figures and the figures aren't made anymore so would be weird to rerelease it.

Thought the image was legit for a minute. Was hyped there'd be a pc version of CTR.

They're rumored to be making a new Skylanders without the figures right now anyways. They definitely won't bother to back compat the old ones that require figures they no longer sell.

If usa and japan are going to crackdown on sony monopoly for japan, this is what could be the big benefit that microsoft needs if they were to acquire a japanese publisher on sony home turf this would lead to better competition and would be easier to approval ..
If this were to happen i would want MS to go acquire either Sega or Bandai Namco

Need a Japanese company for the lolz. P

Dragons Dogma is the most successful marriage of a western & Japanese RPG of all time, nothing before it or after it has come close.

It's definitely quite the accomplishment, trying to marry Eastern and Western design philosophies into a single game can fail spectacularly, just look at Forspoken. Western writing team, character art design style and soundtrack, Japanese gameplay design, and the end result was a steaming pile of garbage. The difference is that Dragon's Dogma seems to have taken some of the best aspects of both Eastern and Western games and combined them, while Forspoken often did the opposite, taking some of the weaker points of Eastern and Western games and combining them. Dragon's Dogma used Japanese art design (though inspired by some western high fantasy art), western world design (Itsuno cited Lord of the Rings, Neverending Story, and Dungeons and Dragons as inspiration for the world design), a mostly Japanese soundtrack (though Fallout/Dragon Age Origins composer Inon Zur did contribute some tracks), and a mixture of Japanese and Western gameplay design (the RPG elements were inspired by WRPG's with Capcom specifically citing Fallout 3, TES 4, and Fable 2 as influences, while the combat was based on Japanese action games such as DMC, Monster Hunter, and Demon's Souls).

And to think there’s folks here trying to hate on Godcom, I mean Capcom 😎

Dragon’s Dogma is GOAT!

DD is the only good game they’ve ever created, they’re still pretty trash as a studio. Honestly I’d put them below Ubisoft in the trash rankings.

Eh...havent played DD but the DMC, Street Fighter and all the collection games they made have been great.

Only thing I enjoyed from Ubisoft was the AC series but even that is giving them too much credit....

I'll admit I'm not a big Capcom fan, that is why I have said many times that I would prefer Xbox to acquire Sega or Koei Tecmo over Capcom if they were to go for a Japanese publisher. Over the years I've tried Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, DMC, and Dead Rising, and didn't particularly like any of them enough to play the game to completion. I do enjoy the Resident Evil games, but don't play them myself as I'm too chicken to play horror games alot the time, instead I have watched youtube playthroughs of most of the Res games. I also dislike how Capcom has been self-censoring alot of their games in recent years, in ways that aren't required by the various game rating agencies like ESRB and CERO.

I haven't tried Dragon's Dogma myself, and by now I'm sure it's too dated for me to enjoy after almost 11 years, but I might try the upcoming Dragon's Dogma 2, which is supposed to release in 2024 or according to insider reports.
