Well, my Switch 2 and TV needed a break after using them all through the night again. I logged in 30mins after it started on pure coincidence since I forgot about it. All I can say is that I killed some time. If I simply sat in a quiet room for an hour I could've rested my eyes as well, but that's just hindsight.

I'm starting to wonder if GTA's delay fucked their plans though and that's why we didn't see Gears E-Day/State of Decay 3, or even Fable, I would not be surprised if one or two of them were scheduled for early 2026 and GTA's new date has caused Microsoft to panic and push them all the way back to Holiday 26, Lmao.

I was 50/50 on Fable, but I do NOT believe it not being shown necessarily means it is Holiday 2026 because it could very easily have a trailer at The Game Awards and then a lengthy gameplay demo at Developer Direct in January, but with GTA 6 in May, it basically has to launch between February - April, Lol. It launches in May and it will get all wind kicked out of it, even April would be risky.

State of Decay 3 was heavily rumoured for early 2026 but even that wasn't shown.

Great show, Clockwork immediately one of my most anticipated games. CoD ending as the "one more thing" was lame af tho. One more thing is supposed to be a cool surprise, not something everyone knows is a yearly release.

And yea, I agree that it's odd they showed nothing from so many first party games that are supposedly coming out next year. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed almost everything in that show, so I'm not mad.

I'm kind of glad this isn't Kiln, which was Lee Petty's game rumoured to be the next Double Fine project, only because that was a multiplayer project, Lol. It's nice to see Double Fine sticking to single-player third person quirky adventures. Kiln I would have skipped but this I will be playing for sure.

Clockwork Revolution was easily my game of the show. It will be a certified banger!

There is a lot to like in this showcase with a bunch of interesting games coming to Game Pass. Easy 8/10 for me.

How is Game Freak showing a game that looks that good and then releasing f*cking Pokemon? It looks great but because it is Game Freak, I feel like I'm being tricked somehow. Also, I love Pokemon still and I buy them all day one, I'm a sucker for Pokemon before anyone gets mad, but c'mon, Lmao. I know I'm contributing to the problem of Pokemon's recent quality.

Good luck to those buying FF16. That games combat is a wrist shattering experience. Never have I suffered the amount of ache playing a game before lol. One button combat be damned. It’s 100x worse on the highest difficulty mode, think I most have pressed a single button half a million times by the time the plat popped 🤣🤣
