I wonder what would happen to Adoring Fan canonically if he got stuck in Oblivion, I know there's a way to lose him permanently by closing an Oblivion Gate before he catches up with you, it leaves him stuck in Oblivion, I like to imagine he either becomes a Daedric Prince himself somehow, or annoys the other Daedric Princes so much they toss him back out, Adoring Fan and Sheogorath going on wild adventures together.

I mean those would be plausible scenarios for the Starfield adoring fan...for Oblivion's tho? He'd just get murdered in about 5 seconds flat

I want an Elder Scrolls RTS.

Hell I’d settle on an isometric action RPG!

I'm thinking the RTS could be during Tiber Septim's conquest of Tamriel which would take it all across multiple regions of Tamriel and it's a major significant event worthy of its own story, then you can add all the Daedric Princes as playable commanders with their own unique armies of Daedra in the Multiplayer modes. Just think how many playable commanders/factions it could have...

  1. Azura
  2. Boethiah
  3. Clavicus Vile
  4. Hermaeus Mora
  5. Hircine
  6. Ithelia
  7. Jyggalag
  8. Malacath
  9. Mehrunes Dagon
  10. Mephala
  11. Meridia
  12. Molag Bal
  13. Namira
  14. Nocturnal
  15. Peryite
  16. Sanguine
  17. Sheogorath
  18. Vaermina
  19. Armies of Black Marsh (Argonians)
  20. Armies of Cyrodiil (Imperials)
  21. Armies of Elsweyr (Khajiit)
  22. Armies of Hammerfell (Redguards)
  23. Armies of High Rock (Bretons)
  24. Armies of Morrowind (Dark Elves)
  25. Armies of Skyrim (Nords)
  26. Armies of Summerset Isles (High Elves)
  27. Armies of Valenwood (Wood Elves)
  28. The Orc Armies.

Even if it only has half of that list...Think of the DLC possibilities, Lmao. Microsoft could support such a game with factions for years and we haven't even got into the possibilities of doing something with the extra minor races like Akaviri, Ayleid, Falmer, Giants, Goblins, Sea Elves, Sloads, etc. There's a bunch of races in the Akavir region but I think Todd wants to keep mystery to those.

South of Midnight is 18 PEGI and Mature 17+ ESRB so I doubt it would be an issue.

Oh really?  I thought it was Teen this whole time.

You'll see why once you play it but it's definitely mature enough for Sinners, Lol. It tackles some very heavy themes, including child abuse, multiple showings of murder, an alligator mauling someone, abuse towards the mentally impaired, one level has you wading through hundreds of dead pigs piled on top of each other, etc.

But then he'd just respawn again!

Even Molag Bal, Lord of Domination, Lord of Brutality, Tormentor of Men, Molag the Slave-Lord, Prince of Pain, Father of Undeath...Would probably grow so sick of Adoring Fan he would kill him fairly quickly and make sure he stays dead. Sheogorath and maybe Sanguine would probably find him a laugh and endlessly torture him.

The Starfield Adoring Fan would turn into Doomguy trying to get back to his master 😂

Adoring Fan needs to come back in Elder Scrolls VI (as does the Arena) and it should be the exact same model, voice, etc. But they should provide no explanation why that is just to fuck with us, Lol. Is it a descendent who just looks like him? Is he actually a Daedra? Is he something else? People can make their own headcanon

Weird to think that in a bit more than a month it is showcase time, time flies when so much is going on :)

Indeed, I would have loved for the Xbox series to be more PC like. If that's the aim for the next console, I am so ready to get into that.

It’s kinda funny because that’s what the whole point of Xbox was originally supposed to be. Bill Gates was originally sold on the idea of Windows on a console, which was partially true, but they couldn’t implement Windows in a way that would work on console, but they settled on over the counter PC parts and an SDK that allowed developers to develop for Xbox as if they were developing for PC.

Looks like Xbox may finally be realizing that original vision very soon.

This approach allows Microsoft to enhance their hardware appeal and continues with their device-agnostic strategy. People are thinking what they could do next, and a Windows powered console and handheld combo next gen sounds like the perfect move.

It's an approach similar to what Valve attempted with the Steam Machines, but is now succeeding with the Steam Deck's SteamOS.

Oblivion is really putting me in the mood to play Skyrim again.

Only ever played the original, none of the 20 anniversary editions.

Journey to the Savage Planet was fun and it looks like Revenge of the Savage Planet is a bit better so that's nice, another confirmed title for the Game Pass backlog, Lol. I'm hoping June/July doesn't have much I'm interested in releasing on Game Pass, Lol. I'll try fit Stalker 2 into June along with Revenge of the Savage Planet and hopefully Expedition 33.
