Tbh...I would rather Forza Horizon 6 have been day one multiplatform and releasing in 2025 than Forza Horizon 5 be a late port to PS5, Lmao. I just want Forza Horizon 6 now but with this port, and an update as well, Forza Horizon 5 has a lot more support left in it. Goddamn...I can't really blame them because of how massive Forza Horizon 5 is but I selfishly want Forza Horizon 6 now and I don't give a fuck if it's day one multiplatform...Stop updating Forza Horizon 5!!!

Folks in gaming have so internalized the idea that the huge live service games are huge that they are rarely brought up as why new games struggle to find an audience.
New games struggle (imo primarily) because there's no air for them to breathe. The biggest competitor to any new game is Fortnite.
