Dont care what other fans think, I just want another BK game.

Same, it always made sense to me to have a bunch of smaller or midscale studios working on games with older IP's especially with all those sierra/rare ip's,

New KI/Viva Pinata/King Quest/geometry wars and so on, they could be fiinished fast and would be ideally for gamepass.

Anyway makes me hope that project dream will become a reality always love their trailers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdXtmJVKpcg

edit: Indiana being 14th is kind of bad and the excuse but it is only on xbox and steam is not a good one (steam chart was correct).

I'd take the mans opinion whose entire career is based around this over a random forum user.

14 across all platforms in sales, 4 on Xbox in sales with 3 massive IPs above it. Engagement on Xbox is still tracking incredibly well based on Achievements unlocked and TrueAchievements data and it has maintained strong position in Players charts on Xbox for over a month now so is seemingly performing well on Game Pass. Game Pass cleaves sales as expected and it's only available on Xbox/PC in December.

It seems to have underperformed on Steam but done great on Xbox and overall done "pretty good" because Steam isn't the only factor of success and CCU especially isn't the only factor of success and I wish people would stop obsessing over CCU for every single game when CCU's factors vary from game to game. Should have been a bit of fun but it is being ruined like Meta.

So a "pretty good" start with strong legs on Xbox and a future port to PS which will boost it.

I thought Call of Duty might not have made #1 in light of how ridiculously successful College Football 25 was, it having a 3 month head-start and Black Ops launching on Game Pass but still, it took the #1 spot in sales, Lol. Still remains only GTA, RDR and Hogwarts Legacy beating it, GTA 6 will break its legs but maybe not this year.

You don't need to engage with my opinion but it was clear from release that the numbers on steam was not great it seems to be the case that a game like Starfield did around 10 times more in sales and then we are not even talking about the highest peak of players 330k for starfield compared to 12K for Indiana Jones. Being 14th on the charts for a high budget /well known IP just doesn't seem good especially when the first 13 are not new and some of them are only on one platform. Game deserved better.

Machine Games is like Remedy. Great games, poor sales.

Gigantic: Rampage Edition now on Game Pass. Now you have no excuse, fellas. ;)

Cool. Mat knows way more than you, so I trust him over you.

Seen some commentary about Xbox filing Bethesda Europe for closure, but that's not what's happening.

"Bethesda Softworks Europe Ltd is a legal entity that is no longer used. There are no shutdowns of our European offices taking place." A Microsoft spokesperson told me.

It didn't have poor sales though. Mat straight up says it is "pretty good" Lol. I do agree the general trend with MachineGames is underperformance though. Steam isn't everything though, it has sold well on Xbox and doing very well in engagement overall, which points towards it being successful on Game Pass and we can expect a decline in sales as a result of Game Pass.
