Should invest on East asia companies or devs (China, Korea, Japan) instead of western companies. Would help them to diversify their catalogue.

Should not buy any companies and just build their own studio. No point in buying one when MS will just shut them down then sit on good IPs forever. MS didn't even include Wizards and Warriors or Captain Skyhawk in the Rare collection.

Cause their are plenty of segmented releases from Rare on spectrum/nintendo, it is hard to license them again if not impossible;.

Just started on Soulcalibur II HD

Played through five of the characters in Arcade mode but now doing Weapon Master quest to unlock the rest.

This is another point where I find it funny to complain about giving people who actually are willing to spend extra money to play a game early. Is it praying on someone to give them the option or is it giving them a choice.  I know I have absolutely no incentive to pay extra money to play any game early but then again, I value my money differently.  The thing is, if there is an audience for such a thing, not catering to that audience is miss money.

To miss money, exactly,  it is not a pro consumer move, not a pro gamepass move, it is a move that is only made to squeeze money from fans who will not feel like it is a choice but an obligation to do so and you may find it funny but I find it a vile businesspractice...  They did it a few times in the past but now it seems to become the norm and this will not be accepted well when those special editions release and people find out it isn't on gamepass...Ofcourse some xbox fans will defend it and say it is okay because EA and Ubisoft do it aswell...  This will also not be beneficial for the reviews or reception of the games because people will be more critically 'I had to pay 100$ for it so yeah'

Did you wake up today and found out that business do not always do Pro consumer things the way you feel they should do it.  If there is an audience, a business will seek that money.  You believe its not pro consumer but that is because you are not in that group.  It isn't pro consumer for you but there is enough people who are more than willing to toss that money away to play a game early.

If you find it vile business practice to cater to a market that you are not part of than you are probably going to find a lot of things in business vile.

I do not know what reason you sub to GP, I get it because MS first party games are released on the subscription.  They are released on the date the game is set to launch which is fine for me because I cannot be bothered or care if someone pays to play it 5 days early or that MS would seek to add some incentive to costly PRO and Ultimate versions of their game with early play.

Last but not least, you are acting like this is something new or that there will be some sudden fallout because there are people who are willing to shell out for Pro/Ultimate versions of a game.  Really, if you spent 100 bucks for a game you already sold on it and if you are willing to spend extra money to get the premium addition even when you get to play the game at release, well you evidently value spending that extra money for the game over your subscription. I just do not understand getting upset about a choice that is 100% up to the consumer to make with their money. Still not even sure how this even affects you.

There isn't a demand or can you quote someone on this forum that said 'I want 100$ editions of games that let me play the game on the release date while standard editions of the game will release later' Just like there was no demand to make consoles and gamepass more expensive.....   Atleast no demand from consumers.

Yes businesses want to make money but can you answer this:  Are gamecompanies who have the 100$ and 70$ edition releasing the same idea less consumer friendly or more?    What is weird is to see that their are people who are defending this kind of business practice..

It's consumer manipulation. Tbh, I don't get anyone paying more to play 2 days early. It's just 2 days. People need to wait and stop being muppets.

It really not consumer manipulation.  I do not think that term really works well in this situation.  How can a consumer be manipulated into a purchase that has no real meaning only to that consumer.  Meaning, I have never bought a pro/ultimate/premium version of any game.  The reason is because there was nothing in those versions I felt was worth the added cost.  Every consumer goes into a purchase decision and decides if the value is worth their money.  The business is trying to find that right amount of value to sell you a product.  Pro/premium/Ultimate versions of games came around when business found out they can sell you extra crap and get you to pay a premium price for it.

Damn, Soulcalibur 2 (X360) is so much fun - way better than Soulcalibur V which I played on PS3 about over a year ago or so. I played through 5 hours straight lol.

They should remaster it and release it across all platforms (and the Nintendo version having Link again).

I have a bad feeling stalker 2 will be a complete stutter fest like a lot of unreal engine games. Hope I'm wrong.

From the previews, many were noting that performance was incredibly smooth. Granted, it could be a hyper focused build of the game, but I would be shocked if GSC tried to pull a fast one like that.

It also depends on what version of UE5 they're running the game on. Version 5.5 released recently, and there's been noticeable performance improvement with each iteration. A lot of games so far have been running on versions 5.1 or 5.2, so here's to hoping! Can't believe we're finally just a couple days away from release.
