Fucking "organic growth" in the list of arguments against the deal

The list of arguments for the deal seem much more well reasoned.

“A lot of folks told me that non-Game Pass games that they ship versus Game Pass games, [they get] 7x sales.”

Most excitingly for fans of Roiland and his studio, Squanch, is that Game Pass won’t just help them make High on Life, but future games, too:

“We are an indie studio. We’re small. And we do want a war chest to make a bunch more fun crazy games. And that was of consideration for us. It’s like, ‘OK, we really want this game to get out there. We want it to do. We want sales to do well.’ And I think that, yeah, I mean, from what I gathered in my little poking around and asking different folks, Game Pass was a huge value-add in that respect.”

Can't believe this idiot let himself get suckered into a GP release by a bunch of Phil Spencer burner accounts pretending to be other devs.

I’m sure that argument will hold up in a court of law

Wow. Currently, Sony owns 121 IP’s. Microsoft currently owns 70. If/after the ActiBlizz deal goes through, Microsoft would be at 119 IP’s….and yet Microsoft would be the monopoly lol

Glad to see Sonys buzz word this gen is still out there “OrGaNiC GroWTh” they probably think buying Bungie was “Organic growth” coz they some exclusive dlc and that somehow made Bungie into the studio they are today ;’L

MS makes up for it's inorganic growth with organic shrinking. Bungie tells them "hey, we'd really love to go pursue other things on our own," MS shakes their hand and goes "cool, just put Halo in the basket over here on your way out, it's been a pleasure boys!" And that then led to some nice momentary growth for Activision, before eventually leading to growth for Sony. MS building the rest of the industry up over here. When was the last time Sony built up a studio for someone else? Selfish pricks.

Was culturally impactful used at all?
