Pentiment getting 120fps on PS5 before Xbox. Not only is MS making Xbox owners second class citizens with third parties but now with their own IPs … hate to see it 🥲

IDK, I'd be mixed on a new Halo Wars. I freaking loved the first game but found the second game to be just okay (even though the marketing for it was freaking amazing). I wouldn't be against Xbox trying to do another game.

I spent all that time yesterday remaking my list and now it is gone again, I have a single game in there....

I would like to see the Halo Wars crew show up in the next mainline Halo game, along with the Arbiter and his faction of the elites, and the rest of Blue Team.

If a Halo Wars 3 is in development, it'd be awesome if Xbox brought in some of the OG team to work on it!

I'm skeptical that Halo Wars 3 is happening. We know that Creative Assembly pitched the idea to 343 and Microsoft shortly after 2 Halo Wars 2 released and were shot down, all we have now is concept art. It's a shame too, the concept they had planned was dope, they were going to add in space combat maps and modes in addition to the ground combat maps from the earlier games.

343 also confirmed in 2021, 4 years after Halo Wars 2 released, that Halo Wars 3 wasn't currently in development and that they had no plans for it. I don't think that Xbox was happy with the sales of the 2nd game.

We may never get Halo Wars 3 sadly, which means we will likely remain stuck on the cliffhanger ending. 7 years now and we still don't even know what happened to Anders after Cortana intercepted the ring that Anders launched from The Ark, nor what happened to the other Spirit of Fire characters back on The Ark, there was zero follow-up to it in Halo Infinite, the books, or the comics. For some reason Cortana and her forces seemingly never went to the now active Ark after she intercepted Anders and learned The Ark was active again, if she had of done that she likely would have wiped out Atriox and his banished forces at the Ark before they became the threat to her that they were in Halo Infinite. Who knows what happened to those Spirit of Fire characters, they were holding off Atriox and his forces on The Ark and then suddenly they weren't, Atriox was back from the Ark to our corner of the Galaxy, and Cortana had destroyed his home world for refusing to submit to her, setting up the war between The Created and The Banished that lead into Halo Infinite. Are the Spirit of Fire crew captured and being held on some Banished world or Banished ship? Dead? What happened to Anders after Cortana intercepted her and presumably interrogated her and learned that the Ark was active? Maybe one day we will learn in the sequel to Halo Infinite at least.

Maybe so, but now with Pierre Hintz is in charge, anything is possible! Especially now that Hyenas was cancelled and Total War: Pharoah being a flop, it would've been a perfect time to collab again with Creative Assembly. 

Mint Blitz suggested it, but it would be awesome if Halo got a 64 vs 64 Battlefield-style game. Insanely large Halo maps along with Halo's signature sandbox gameplay. Would be pretty sick to see.
