I did say Microsoft should offer this and call Sony's bluff, as I don't think there's a chance in hell that Sony would pay for it close to day one as it would be for Game Pass, if regulators don't trust Microsoft then get a 3rd party to set the price or something, I think we can all agree that a fair price is somewhere in the region of hundreds of millions for day one.

But at the same time, it's so ridiculous that Sony has to be offered all of this stuff despite being the significant market leader, Lol. 10 Years of native ports, an option for PS Plus inclusion, content parity, etc. All to protect the bottom line of the market leader. This should pass EC easily now, they like behavioural remedies, the issue still remains that CMA does not like behavioural remedies.

Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft's (MSFT) offer to have Sony (SONY) sell Call of Duty on its streaming service was part of its previous 10-year offer to sell the game on Sony (SONY) PlayStation console. Sony has not yet accepted the deal.

Microsoft Offers Sony Rights to Sell Call of Duty on PlayStation Plus: Report (MSFT) | Seeking Alpha

Time for Sony to find the next excuse.

Why ain't Destiny still on GP? Let's get some Sony concessions when they buy shit aye?

Yep, Destiny 2 expansions were pulled from Gamepass like 2 weeks before it was publicly announced that Sony had acquired them, and around 17 months after entering Gamepass. I have never seen Xbox make a Gamepass deal with such an unusual number of months, usually they are in there for either 12 months or 24 months. Makes me think it wasn't just a normal expiration, but rather Sony using some clause in the deal to pull them.

Microsoft could offer Sony the entire ABK catalogue day one, Sony marketing and free launch into PS Plus and FTC wouldn't accept it, Lol.

Easy on the hyperbole there, buddy. You just said that Sony would reject becoming the owners of ABK for free

SE fucking up, I would've bought CC day one if it wasn't for the antics

Giving my support elsewhere

Why would it not, If you are not making COD exclusive then you will be willing to take a deal on all platforms and continue the IP making billions of dollars.  I stated this a while ago that MS is willing to make any deal with COD as long as it continue to print money.  As far as MS is concerned COD is like Minecraft, it prints money and as you stated, most streaming platforms are not willing to pay up front cost to have it on their service.  Only MS can absorb that kind of cost as long as it translate into subs.

It should, although GeForce is a bit different, it works like if you own the game on Steam then you can stream it on GeForce Now, I think Microsoft should support that for CoD because why the fuck not at this stage, Lol.

Be interesting with Amazon though, as that is closer to xCloud/Game Pass and Amazon can definitely afford CoD.
