Yeah thanks for spammy Ryuu for mentioning. FF CC looks to be the last SE game announced that I can think of coming to Xbox. Nothing confirmed for 2023, that I can think of.

Yeah I just saw a list of confirmed games for 2023, even currently unscheduled games, and SE/Xbox combo doesn't appear once lol

Square doesn't want FF to be on Xbox, outside of Crisis Core, so bad that a port of a 3DS FF rhythm game is releasing sometime next year only on NS and PS4 lol

High on Life is getting pretty good reviews! No metacritic score yet, but after reading the positive and mixed, the one big question that likely will be the deciding factor on whether or not you like the game is, are you a fan of that Rick & Morty style humor? Because if you don't, you most likely aren't going to like High on Life.

The positive reviews loved the humor whereas the negative reviews blamed the humor

Apparently, there is an option to turn the guns dialogue down to a minimal, but where's the fun in that?

Idk, I feel like after awhile that might get annoying lol.

That's a fair point lol. I got the game pre-loaded so I'll let you know my thoughts on that!

It's obvious that Square is done with Xbox unless it comes with a Game Pass cheque at this point, Lol.

Does SE have any mid-big sized western projects, not including Westernized FF. SE just thirsty for GP money. Guess Sarah and Phil not feeling it. Would be nice to have them, but rather them focus on SEGA, and Namco.

My guess on no Xbox trailer at the TGA is simply that they couldn't because it would actually harm them.

IMO MS have been trying for the past 18 months to transition from showing projects way to early (which they were force to do to generate hype for their new system release) to showing projects much closer to release. This obviously create a big gap where it is difficult to make new announcement or else the early announcement cycle continue.

Still they could have shown new trailer/gameplay video already announced titles but not really at the same time, the problem is those titles are either 2024+ or already have been their focus of past events. MS certainly don't want their 2023 projects to look like it's all they have when other actors are actually announcing new title for 2023, especially when 2 of 2023 most awaited titles ( which most likely would have been MS focus at TGA) have just been acquired.

This would have resulted in a spike in the kind of discussion MS want to tone down in the light of the merger reviews.

If that was the case they still should have been able to show their 2nd half 2023 games. If they were able to show games releasing in the next year last E3 (June 2022-June 2023), they should have been able to show games releasing in the next year at The Game Awards (December 2022-December 2023). We know nothing about what Xbox is releasing in the 2nd half of 2023 currently, we just have speculation based on leaks and how long games have been in development for (those speculated 2nd half games include Contraband, Avowed, Project Belfry, Project Mara, Hellblade 2, and Wolfenstein 3 typically. We obviously wont get all of those as that would make the 2nd half of the year too crowded, but those are ones that we know should be the closest to being finished, as each of them has been in development since 2018 or 2019).

Fuck Square Enix for sure. My decision to boycott their games moving forward is becoming easier and easier.

Just downloaded Adblock for mobile. Idk what goat is talking about smh easy as hell. And yes SE can go f*ck themselves.

Speaking of Square Enix, I see Forspoken trending on Twitter and it's mainly people saying the demo is bad or mid, both critic previews and fan impressions. People who were excited about the game before, saying it has a graphics downgrade relative to the marketing materials, technical issues, cringe dialogue, an empty world, floaty or overly hectic combat. I have been saying much of this since it was announced, it never looked particularly good to me, world traversal mechanics aside. Would have skipped this one even if it wasn't 2 year timed hatted by Sony. Pretty funny that Sony spent 2 year timed hat money on a dud though, serves them right.

I only know the announcement trailer and I remember the world looking very very empty. Wasn't impressed at all. Other than that the trailer didn't leave a lasting impression.
