If it was multiplat it would still be sitting at around 86-87 but we wouldn’t be getting some of the truly insane reviews

What would the score be if it were a Playstation exclusive?

Probably the same. Game is not a 90+ game imo.

It's an 88 though. Also if it weren't going to get some of the "truly insane reviews" then the score would naturally be up.

Damn one of the ship builders in New Atlantis said they work 15 hour shifts. Must be tough.

Well, unfortunately I have encountered my first major bug in Starfield and my workaround options seem limited. Basically, whenever I try to do this Marry Sam quest my ship is deleted from existence. I think what is happening is the ship that is dropping off Sam's ex for the wedding is landing at the same landing spot as my ship and forcing it out of existence, because my ship is there before I start the quest, and then when I walk to the spaceport to escort her to the wedding, my ship is just gone. I can't fast travel to the ship, I can't fast travel to another planet, I can go to shipyard master guy and switch to another ship so that I can at least go off planet afterward, but when I try to switch back to my main ship it is just gone again. Unfortunately, it seems like my only options are to just not do this quest, land my ship outside of Akila City and walk to the city for the wedding, or switch to a junk ship that I can afford to lose before I start the wedding quest, so that I don't lose my best ship.

Steal some shitty ship from a spacer or a crimson raider in space.

I think it could have scored a 90 or slightly higher, but if it was a PS exclusive the reverse would have likely also occurred with some shitty takes by anti-playstation journalists, so I agree it would have remained in the high 80's, but for a different reason.

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.

Oh God, this bug is so much worse than I thought. This isn't tied to that Marriage quest at all, it's happening on much older save files. Even if I go back to saves from hours ago, my best ship just isn't loading into the world, I can't fast travel from any of these saves now (even though I was fast traveling before), all I can do is switch to another ship.

Pouring one out for ya, RIP.  Try selling it and buying it back.

Hard disagree. This might already be my favorite Bethesda game and I ain't even close to finished with it

I'm not really a big Bethesda fan. They usually have great aspects but are held back in some ways that stop me from really enjoyingthem fully. But Starfield has me hooked, I'm having an absolute blast with this one and it's definitely a big challenger for my goty so far. I can't even be called an xbox fanboy because the series x is the only xbox console I've ever owned and I've owned every playstation home console.
