Promise impossible unless comparing to worst looking PS3 or 360 games. That video may look better than Metroid Prime (which imo didn't look good), but it's nowhere near PS3/360 level.

Did I miss antialiasing in there somewhere? This one feature can improve the apparent quality of the image drastically. If the hard edges (jaggies) remain, it's a major disappointment. Nintendo should have added hardware AA in the machine from the start...

The engine looks nice much closer to launch 360 games, now it just needs some more work put into it with a real game, other then that FPS they're making with it.

zzz, I don't quite understand what you guys mean by HD... I mean it's like some arbitrary term slapped on to anything that could allegedly looks good.

Yes, I know what it is; the question is do you guys understand that's only a small and almost insignificant portion of what makes the game look good.

The game can and will look good without the crazy resolution, the crazy resolution just puts more pixels on the screen so the image seems clearer.

The answer these guys put out is just lame and too general a comparison - they deserve any ridicule they get for not being intelligible.

In a sense the level of this HD determines how clearly you see what already looks good.

I'm a little desensitised to awesome graphics. I peaked back in 2006. I appreciate the visuals, but I'll probably never buy another game just because it looks pretty. More power to these guys and their graphics engine. I just hope the actual games that use it are fun.

A youtube video to try and demonstrate PS360 visuals? lol. They'll have to do better than that.

Hmm when Wiiware comes out, they could see about getting a trailer going of game play, like the Metroid Prime 3 movie you used to be able to download.
