Well... I can't find the source of Sony expecting hardware revenue to barely increase. I think may have misread something.

Yeah unless we get a breakdown on hardware revenue in their financial  statements and even then we would need info on where the new margin for hardware sits.

As PS5 is selling similarly to PS4 so far, it's forming the same double helix pattern with Switch; what remains to be seen is what will happen once Switch's 2020 comes around, and once supply is no longer strangling the PS5.
