*prays for FFXVI for the millionth time*
Looks like we're going to have to wait a little bit longer for the PlayStation Showcase lol.
Don't expect any massive reveals or updates on major titles like FF16 or RE4R. State of Plays with a few days notice, without being dedicated showings, are usually centered around indie games. However, Sony did specify Japanese publishers, so we could get an update on Soul Hackers 2, or even Ghostwire:Tokyo.
THis seems a very small event, so the leakers were wrong, who could imagine.

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."
So mostly strangers of paradise and Tokyo Ghostwire. Oh well could be worse.
Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
Japanese devs
So I'm thinking
Resident evil related
Something final fantasy related
Another trailer on soul hackers 2
Something from marvelous (story of seasons or rune factory)
Street fighter 6
Something from level 5
Maybe another youkai watch game
Disgeia 6 complete
twintail said: To be fair, we got an FF7 update + MH expansion reveal + Predator reveal in a single SoP before. And RE3 remake was revealed in an SoP. Edit: so was FF7R intergrade. |
That's true, but based on how Sony handles State of Play's since the launch of the PS5, I think its best to temper expectations.
The best case scenario I could see for tomorrows State of Play:
- Ghostwire Tokyo
- Final Fantasy Origins
- RE8 DLC + RE2/3 PS5 footage
- Final Fantasy Pixel
- Triangle Strategy PS4/PS5 announcement
- Soul Hackers 2
