Nice. Those guys from the Snake Island (they were still alive right?) must be laughing their asses off right now.

Funny that they even produced these stamps with "Russian warship, go....." and now the ship is no more

So who was supposed to be ‘de-Nazi-fying’ who? Because every day it’s the Russians who are sounding more and more like Nazis.

The strange thing about this storm is the fact that it magically evaded showing up on every weather radar and weather satellite..

Even after almost two months now it's still interesting to me how Russian politicians, newscasters and so on get so unbelievable angry about a country for defending itself when they successfully destroy some important military equipment. I mean, what exactly do you expect? That the opponent avoids to destroy your equipment because you are Russia or what?

"how dare you destroy the weaponry we attack with. Who do they think they are?"

Russian media are now saying their invasion of Ukraine has escalated into WW3. Whilst the fighting in the country doesn’t actually meet the definition of a world war, if this view is shared by the Russian government (and isn’t just some Tucker Carlson-esqe hyperbole) then might predicate some level of escalatory attacks from Russia against Nato states. Concerning given the diplomatic messages from Russia in recent days,

Ah, how a 'special military operation' is still not a war, yet there's already World War 3. The only reason why escalating the situation might make sense for Russia is that it would justify full-scale mobilization to its people. Unless Russia is pursuing that, which I really doubt, I think this is done just to strengthen national unity. Still, this is of course a development I would rather not see.

I wonder what a full-scale mobilization would do to their national unity. Surely despite their propaganda people would understand their 'special military operation' went tits-up and their professional army got spanked. I would think normal people wouldn't be very happy to take a soviet-era bolt-action rifle, a handful of ammo, a bottle of vodka and step into the meat grinder.
