Can't be Orban's fault in any way.....His president must have been duped.

Child abuse scandal rattles Orban’s image as defender of ‘family values’

Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban has for years told his country its children are under attack from deviant sexualities and pedophilia. Now, his government is embroiled in a scandal after it emerged that its president had pardoned a man convicted of covering up sexual abuse at a children’s home.

Can't let Ukrainian lives get in the way of making money.

It's actually less about making than you think.

Macron is a very strong proponent of an European Army, and a self-sufficient one at that, meaning without the need of any external suppliers. Forcing the EU to buy European would also force those companies to finally wake up from their slumber and get back in shape. Of course making money is also in his interests, but the main target of this is the European Arms industry and getting them to the point of total independence of American support, with the other target being to create an European Army, something which he reiterated just a couple days ago.

Can do both, Ukraine doesn't have the time to wait for Europe, France and other European countries need to be buying externally AND ramping up their own productions at the same time, the only risk to doing both is wasting some money, the risk to focusing so hard on one is dead Ukrainians, which we're seeing right now, Ukraine has an ammunition shortage.

If all European countries would support Ukraine like France does then the whole of Ukraine would be already Russia.

It's also a tad frustrating to see little countries like Denmark give away all their artillery because they understand that nobody in Europe needs artillery shells right now, they'd only need them if they went to war with Russia who Ukraine is currently fighting at this very moment. It's frustrating to see Czech Republic somehow find 800,000 artillery shells for Ukraine but need help financing them, why is it not the far richer European countries finding these shells and financing them.

The best thing Europe could possibly do to secure their future is start treating this war like they're in it, I obviously don't mean boots on the ground, but no restrictions on the types of weapons being sent, every country in Europe should send its entire artillery ammunition stock to Ukraine, drain it all to 0. There's literally no other country we'd use it on other than Russia. and if we sent it all and Ukraine still lost, we'd still have years to replenish our stocks ahead of an economy crippled Russia.

Well. Everything is fine according to European officials, Lol. Despite Ukraine saying repeatedly over the past couple months they have a severe ammunition shortage. I don't suspect a collapse will happen, so I agree there, but there's clearly an ammunition shortage which is causing unnecessary Ukrainian deaths and a faster than expected loss of territory as was the case with Avdiivka.
