"The International Legion for the Territorial Defence of Ukraine says the 550 would-be fighters from Canada are based in Kyiv"

"Borys Wrzesnewskyj, a former Liberal MP who is helping Ukrainian diplomats organize volunteers for the International Legion, said his rough estimate is that at least 1,000 Canadians have applied to join the force."

JFC...What next, Hitler is still alive on the Moon and working with Ukraine? Keep madly throwing conspiracy bullshit at the wall to see what sticks.

Although it seems they diverted to "BIOWEAPONS" cause the Nazi shit wasn't sticking.

  • Ukraine are Nazis
  • Ukraine is creating a dirty bomb
  • Ukraine is creating a bioweapon

Also a "Anti-Slav" bioweapon would kill Ukrainians...

Also, although bio-chemistry isn’t my specialty, I think it is reasonable to assume that it would be nigh-on impossible to create a bio-weapon that solely targets certain ethnic groups. No only are there huge numbers of people with mixed ancestry (including many who are without realising) but ultimately as everyone is still human the chances are such a weapon would ultimately be indiscriminate and would affect everyone.

Indeed. While cell receptors can vary ever so slightly among ethnic groups, even if that enabled a biological agent that targets exclusively a certain group, this line of reasoning conveniently ignores that viruses and bacteria can, you know, mutate.

A bio-weapon, by definition, would be sooner or later universal. Though I don't doubt countries research the subject if anything to develop countermeasures.

EU aiming to phase out dependencies on Russian fossil fuels by 2027.

I’m guessing the slide in the left was meant to say 2027 not 2021.

Seems Germany will be rebooting its nuclear power stations. The whilst new renewables push seems likely I still think its more likely that European countries are going to look more to fracking. The UK gov has already announced a new review on it and I bet the Cambo oil field comes up again. Protests groups in the UK have already started to make noise on this subject about how the focus should be on moving away from oil&gas but personally I can’t see it happening.

Also in the US I expect it will draw attention back the Keystone XL and the Alaska oilfield that Biden had binned.

Yeah, and I’m going to start marketing Aromatic Crispy Duck in Africa to get people to quack more.

That still makes more sense that the nonsense that Russian guy is spouting.

The Russian conspiracy theories coming out about America remind me of the Dr. Strange love movie. But you know, the Communists infiltrating our bodies through our water supply sounds more reasonable than what the Russians are saying.

But what about the missile gap? The mineshaft gap?

The slide on the left is electricity generation. Oil is barely used here and gas isn't as dominant either.

The slide on the left is energy generation which also includes heating and petrol, so oil is much more dominant here.

Also Germany rebooting nuclear power stations is extremely unlikely. The current operators want to shut the remaining ones down at the end of 2022 as the law demands it. Even if that law was changed it apparently takes at least 1 1/2 years to acquire new fuel rods if ordered right now. And where did we get the Uranium from in the past? A big chunk of that came from Russia.

5 years then, that's a bold claim, I hope it will be accompanied very soon with as much bold investment to do so. If massive investment are announced it could even impact Russian economy by hampering their mid to long term prospect.

I think Ukraine can beat Russia eventually, but I am honestly afraid of Russia's capabilities in the next war. This war will create many veterans and Putin fanatics, so next time Russia will be a lot more capable. Just goes to show that countries like Finland and Georgia need to find a safe zone.

Maybe their Economy will be too much in shambles to support such a war machine, but you never know.
