By news on telegram are you refering to the russian channels that pump out lies and propoganda?

Although I did see some russian telegram chats that are panicking about russias inability to defend against western weapon systems and disrupting their genocidal mission.

Just following this thread as it's convenient summary. If you got important stuff to share by all means do so.

Just a reminder of how many believed in the swift conquest of Ukraine and Zelensky’s imminent death at the beginning of the war. The chances were high that he’d be dead. He stayed, he rallied, and here we are today leading Ukraine against Russist imperialism. Because the word “patriot” is so often appropriated and dragged through the mud by intolerant bullies, it’s refreshing to see a true patriotic and courageous leader in Volodymyr Zelensky.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Yet on a newspaper I comment on there's someone saying we should stop encouraging Ukraine and dragging out the war and that the poster is tired of inflation and high energy prices and Russia has more to 'offer' us. Also that we should be ensuring that Russia sides with us in a future conflict against China.

Several also question (laughably, in my opinion) why Zelensky only ever talks about war and not peace negotiations.

He tried to have peace negotiations all the time in the beginning but Russia didn't care. Ukrainian and Russian delegation even met in Turkey and Belarus but it always ended in "Russia won't stop the war" so I guess it's Russia's move to just leave Ukraine if anyone really wants the war to stop.

This crazy logic that the attacked country is responsible and not the invader....

That person sounds like a paid Russist mouthpiece, but most likely just a contrarian.

Several other commentators on said website accuse him of that every time he post on the subject. There definitely was at least 1 different user who probably was, but I don’t think this one is. Rather someone with illogical and myopic reasoning.
