Jumpin said: Just a reminder of how many believed in the swift conquest of Ukraine and Zelensky’s imminent death at the beginning of the war. The chances were high that he’d be dead. He stayed, he rallied, and here we are today leading Ukraine against Russist imperialism. Because the word “patriot” is so often appropriated and dragged through the mud by intolerant bullies, it’s refreshing to see a true patriotic and courageous leader in Volodymyr Zelensky. |
Yet on a newspaper I comment on there's someone saying we should stop encouraging Ukraine and dragging out the war and that the poster is tired of inflation and high energy prices and Russia has more to 'offer' us. Also that we should be ensuring that Russia sides with us in a future conflict against China.
Several also question (laughably, in my opinion) why Zelensky only ever talks about war and not peace negotiations.
