Putin saying they didn't even start and he seems to think that fighting some more years is ok even if Russia will also lose hundred thousands of people fighting for Russia.

Part of me wonder if some Russian ultra-nationalists would bring this sort of thing up. I don't remember Russian being Alaskan natives don't see how it is ancestral land of theirs. I'd say it just tough talk as the prospect of invading the US is laughable.

Worst thing about the Alaska thing is that it is not like the US took it by war or seized it illegally. Russia sold it to the US by their own choice. They didn't let the UK seize it and got a sizeable amount of cash to fight their wars in Europe. If they didn't do that, who knows how history would have gone down.

I've never seen a country being this desperate. This Alaska thing is completely bonkers. This isn't 1812 anymore, the 'Grande Armée' of NATO would be in Moscow knocking on the door of Putin's office within hours.

Bear in mind that it probably isn't a serious suggestion. It doesn;t look like a government organisation who put up the message. Whilst its quite possible the Krelim knew of the billboard before it went up they would have approved only to annoy the US rather that having any concrete plans to attack Alaska.

Yeah it isn't serious and it isn't anything new either. There has always been some Duma assholes like Zirinovski saying stuff like Russia should invade Finland etc. It just didn't make the news before lol. Obviously they have no intention to attack Alaska. It would be a next-level suicide by cop though :D
