Ryuu-- how long until BFR is able to join this thread again? I'm only asking because he has been with this thread for a while and until the Rol thing happened, he was a regular user. They also make the date of punishment for bans public basically, so i thought that you might possibly be able to shed some light on that. Thanks.

I'm going to post this here if that would be alright.  BB has posted a video on America's developing 6th gen fighter.  He said that it sounds like it would probably be considered a light fighter, be mobile as far as climbing/dropping altitude quickly (but not agile with fast horizontal movements like the F-22 excelled at). He is also speculating that it would be surrounded by drones which would have the missles, and thus make them better targets for radar than the plane carrying the human.

BB also said that it would finally be fielded in sometime in the 2030's, so something that we could actually see would be a long ways off.

But, it is nice to see what our tax dollars go towards, so if y'all want to check out some bleeding edge airpower, take a look

If The White House is talking about how Putin and Trump are friends, any sane American should immediately do everything he can to get rid of this government. It's pretty much one of the worst things possible for an American president.

But instead Americans will either do nothing or will be as stupid as "oh they are friends? Putin has to be a good person and Russia is our ally"

What's wrong with America to have changed to such a fucked up country? Some years ago I would've thought Americans would rather die as to be considered to be friends of this murderer and dictator

Trump is an american hero.  However, many americans aren't discerning individuals, and having a storied life as well as financial success means you should be emulated.  So i can easily see the attraction.  I don't agree, but i can definitely empathize with people voting in this larger than life kind of person.  He just turned out to be evil so you get the bad with the good i guess.

Trump is an American Hero? For what? For inheriting real estate and becoming a billionaire with that, appearing in wrestling and trying to deny victory to a legitimate winner of the election? Dude doesn't even own as much money as he would if he'd never touched what his father left him.

Or for avoiding to go to the military?

It's crazy how people ignore which family Trump came from and that every idiot could be billionaire with this. Nobody will call anyone a genius for transforming 100k into 1m in 25 years lol. Trump didn't do anything else, he just started with much more.

I explained why i said that: because of his business success and also because he has been an American icon for decades.  Now, it is superficial though, because his character really isn't there.  I'm not saying that i like trump at all, i can just understand why we wanted to vote him into office.

Subliminal messaging?

Current season of Survivor:

Looks a lot like the Kremlin lol

Most Americans are too busy with their own self absorbed life to care about politics enough to get up and do something about it. Do nothing is the default. The same as in most, if not all countries.

But when asked, they are 'concerned' (which is just as useful as EU leaders being 'concerned' about Israel destabilizing the ME further)

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/americans-worry-trump-too-closely-aligned-with-russia-reutersipsos-poll-finds-2025-03-13/

More than half of Americans, including one in four Republicans, think President Donald Trump is "too closely aligned" with Russia, as he radically realigns U.S. foreign policy, a new Reuters/Ipsos poll shows.

Some 56% of respondents, including 89% of Democrats and 27% of Republicans, agreed with a statement that Trump was too close to Moscow.

Support for Helping Ukraine Reclaim Territory Back Above 50% (53%)
Americans Much More Concerned Russia Would Violate Terms of Potential Agreement (78% vs 26% Ukraine)
The agreement would be too favorable to Russia (70% vs 20% Ukraine)

15 seasons of The Apprentice made Trump a household name. Americans love arrogant confidence, a recipe for successful reality TV.

Trump is a solopsist next to a narcisist.
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2025/feb/08/donald-trump-media-coverage

And narcissists unfortunately are popular, self confidence (deserved or not) is a desirable trait.

Plus Americans love his abrasive behavior, kicking at the 'establishment', ignoring the rules. Don't like something "You're fired!". No wonder with the USA turning more and more into a police state since 2001. Here's someone kicking against the rules!

White males see themselves as victims in today's society, and you can see how that works out in Israel, playing the victim all the time. Easy pray for wannabe dictators like Netanyahu and Trump. So they're fine with letting Trump burn it all down, and then make America great again (for white males)

The overall architectural style of the Kremlin complex is very similar, including the Grand Kremlin Palace where Putin officially resides, and the bell tower of Ivan the Great. And for better or worse, it’s the most familiar part of the Kremlin/Red Square complex.
