Most Americans are too busy with their own self absorbed life to care about politics enough to get up and do something about it. Do nothing is the default. The same as in most, if not all countries.

But when asked, they are 'concerned' (which is just as useful as EU leaders being 'concerned' about Israel destabilizing the ME further)

Some 56% of respondents, including 89% of Democrats and 27% of Republicans, agreed with a statement that Trump was too close to Moscow.
