If so, Pokemon must have the biggest and most loyal fandom of all time because no other franchise can sell that much in every single entry

I guarantee if 2 CoDs were released 1 day apart, they'd sell the exact same amount.

Let us not kid ourselves, it’s not a paricularly pretty game by Switch standards. It’s just that internet forums make it seem to be so bad that it’s unplayable and that isn’t true.

But as with all games, gameplay is king and this new gameplay is an improvement to Pokémon in my opinion.

How is it ambitious? What i have seen, has been done before. All reviews said it was barebones. Sure gameplay has changed which is good for the series aging formula. However its not big enough change. From the millions of videos, the open world is bare, very very low textures, empty, resolution is very low docked and handheld and its not locked fps according to reports. I am sure its fun and i will probably get it when they have patch it up and add more content then what they have now like they did with sword amd shield. But with the amount of money they made with sword and shield and brilliant diamond and previous entry, i expected more from them. Even pokemon snap switch version looks much better and more fun lol

Why would you think that? I expect it to outsell DP remakes by several million. DP remakes have probably already dropped off. I doubt they will be evergreen like this game will, and it just had a bigger first week than DP remakes.
