I'm curious about this too. Since MLB The Show is a yearly franchise, it would make more sense for them to have put in the effort themselves and get the Switch version running real good. Otherwise they will be paying a porting studio to do the same port every year for each new installment. But I guess we will see.
Beyond that, having it still on PS4 and Xbox One isn't a surprise, but it does bring up the question of next year. Will MBL The Show 23 drop the last-gen systems and just be PS5/Xbox Series along with Switch, in which case the gap between those two will be absolutely gigantic? Or ... will they wait until the '24 installment to drop the older consoles, AND drop Switch, and go PS5/Xbox Series/next-gen Nintendo platform (assuming that launches in 2023) ???
