An interesting video has popped up on Youtube recently with the comparison between Left 4 Dead vs Back 4 Blood. Title of the video is "Back 4 Blood proves Valve carried Left 4 Dead"

Its an interesting watch. Turtle Rock advertised Back 4 Blood was made by the original creators however watch this video and their seems to be more behind the scenes than whats been announced to the public.

This video showcases why Valve is one of the greatest developers in the entire industry and how much influence they have when it comes to game creation. 13 years later and their games are still Superior to games that follow decades later.

Much watch for fans of the series.

Valve have proven, their is a lot more to games, than just pretty graphics.

Its too bad Valve don't really make games anymore. I would love to see The Orange Box remade for this generation.

In terms of L4D versus B4B, I remember Left 4 Dead being one of my first games for the Xbox 360, it was a great experience at the time & the multiplayer landscape wasn't as diluted as it is now with F2P games. I'm not sure any of that factored into the review scores of Back 4 Blood, which IIRC got panned for having a few technical issues that L4D didn't have, but if it came out during the seventh generation it would be a more appealing title to the mass audience.

Left for Dead. Back 4 Blood is a poor imitation of L4D, and there's no real reason to play the former over the latter. B4B was just flavor of the month and rode off the coat-tail of a game by people behind L4D.

Going by Steam data. There are still people playing L4D 2 to this day, which is more than can be said about B4B - which released a couple months ago.

it´s a good game, and the last big update introduces new official levels, and the community yet produces good content.

The two games count, I have 600 hours of playing.

This is the best part about Valve, they are not under a corporate thumb to just force out titles because someone says so. They make games when they are ready and every time Valve releases a new title, its either game changing or industry leading. Half Life: Alyx is a fine example of this, their latest is VR's greatest. Almost all in house Valve games have done something new for the industry. Valve are like the grand fathers of gaming, those that will still do it better their way and this comparison between old and new showcases how far ahead Valve are in this industry.

Left 4 Dead is better without question. I have several issues with Back 4 blood, but my biggest is the versus mode. It's so half-assed compared to Left 4 dead. I played like 4 matches in B4B and never touched it again. The only thing I give B4B over L4D is; the mutation variations, variety of bosses and mini bosses, and the cutscenes are cool. Other than that L4D beats it in every other way.
