Its too bad Valve don't really make games anymore. I would love to see The Orange Box remade for this generation.

In terms of L4D versus B4B, I remember Left 4 Dead being one of my first games for the Xbox 360, it was a great experience at the time & the multiplayer landscape wasn't as diluted as it is now with F2P games. I'm not sure any of that factored into the review scores of Back 4 Blood, which IIRC got panned for having a few technical issues that L4D didn't have, but if it came out during the seventh generation it would be a more appealing title to the mass audience.

This is the best part about Valve, they are not under a corporate thumb to just force out titles because someone says so. They make games when they are ready and every time Valve releases a new title, its either game changing or industry leading. Half Life: Alyx is a fine example of this, their latest is VR's greatest. Almost all in house Valve games have done something new for the industry. Valve are like the grand fathers of gaming, those that will still do it better their way and this comparison between old and new showcases how far ahead Valve are in this industry.
