I believe that is the biggest hope most are having with the acquisition that MS may go for a very different direction than Bobby.

Hopefully! I just started out in software development, and I get to move around on projects a decent amount. Leaving jobs is risky for another company, a lot of uncertainty. I'm sure a lot of devs/artists/etc over there have become completely over making cod games.

I can't imagine all their studios are really happy to be working on almost the same stuff year on year, sure the pay may be good but the satisfaction?

None because while i like to shit on Sony online, im not narrowminded enough to be like fanboys and let that stop me from purchasing playstations or the other way around

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Nothing. Not one thing.

Question what studio outside of Rare actually does change things up?

That is not the point, it is which IP from Ubisoft you would miss if you couldn't play it.

Damnit not Pitfall, how will I go on! The only series I will miss will be Diablo and we don't see many games in that series. I will more than likely pick up the Series S at some point to play the Bethesda games so I can always play Diablo 4 there if it doesn't come out on Playstation 5.

Not sure I understand your question.

I'm talking about the 5 studios making CoD year after year either supporting warzone or being sequel after sequel of CoD.

None, since I have PC. But I'll miss being able to have the option to buy/play the games on console.

I'd say Spyro, but Spyro hasn't been good since Insomniac was working on them. How ironic. Don't care about Call of Duty or the FPS genre in general (Outside of the recent Doom games and TitanFall). Crash Bandicoot 3 and 4 were pretty good but not enough to miss. I don't care about Warcraft or StarCraft or Diablo - and if I did I'd get them on PC - and Overwatch is another online only FPS. No thanks.

It's not about ME that I'm upset at the Activision-Blizzard acquisition, it's the idea that a company can just...buy up such a company without actually earning shit. Make good games, Microsoft.

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Yep, that is one red herring. Xbox haven't done the profits to buy mohjang, zenimax nor activision. That is basically like rich father buying the way for the sun. But it took them 4 generations to see the son had no talent and needed papa money to succeed.
