I would say GTA Trilogy, but I have avoided most of the train wrecks.

My worse experience of 2021 was losing in tekken 7 online. I was on 472 winning streak
PD giving up on the penalty system and de facto giving up on GT Sport.
Sim update 7 in FS2020 or rather the GOTY edition, the one thing that still held it all together (live weather) had to be broken as well. Next sim update isn't until the end of Februari and weather is currently completely down. Plus the Reno air races were a complete dud.
PSN deteriorating, so many disconnects the past 2 weeks. (Could also be my isp, getting worse all the time)
My bf loves the Forza Horizon series so probably the online in FH 4 randomly not working just a few hours into playing it delaying playing it with him for a while which in turn put me off the game for a while.
When it started working again I ended up getting really into it and put over 100 hours in and played it with him for the first time on our anniversary which was a very nice experience so in a way that game gave me my most negative and my most positive gaming experience that year.
This is hard. Since I almost never buy day one or preorder I have avoided the worse. But I was a bit let down by combat system of neo:the world ends with you. Such a downgrade from one of my all time favorite games. But still not a bad game over all.
It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.
